Requestee: an extension of LionessSister request, though I have gotten more to add another chapter

Warnings: a curse word, jokes/foreshadowing talk of intercourse

Author's Note: I can't lie, I absolutely love writing this story. I am definitely writing another part of this because I have no self control. I am working on requests also, I promise, my phone broke a while ago, and I've had to rewrite my drafts. For some reason, I've told my tumblr readers that and not you guys. But, requests are open, and that includes if you have anything you'd like to see in future installments of this piece. I hope you enjoy! :)

As you and Bucky get a ride to your house, he expresses how much he adores you and apologises over and over for ever putting you in your situation. You didn't have to stay in the hospital longer than two nights, seeing as you were basically just badly bruised and in excrutiating pain, so you've just been trying to live through the pain and get home so you can wear nothing but your robe.

You groan in pain as you sit there for a brief moment of silence. As you finally get settled, Bucky gazes at you. It isn't a soft apologetic gaze this time. No, this time, his eyes are taking their time to slowly appreciate every inch of you he can see. Even with the bruises, you look like someone's ebony goddess. His ebony goddess to be exact.

"I have a feeling my mama wouldn't appreciate the way you're lookin at me, White Boy." You say to him with a smirk, not bothering to look his way. Bucky laughs and licks his lips, still eyeing you, "Then I apologize to your mama, but I'm sure if she was sittin in my seat, doll, she'd be lookin the same way."

His comment makes you laugh, and only makes you more attractive to Bucky. Not taking his eyes off of you, Bucky grabs your hand, rubbing circles onto the top of it with his thumb, "You know baby doll, this is the first time we've really gotten to be alone." Bucky says smoothly. You and your roommate, who just so happens to be your ride, both talk at the same time;

"Since when am I baby doll?"

"I'd appreciate you keeping the rest of that thought to yourself, James."

Bucky laughs, choosing to deal with your roommate first, "What do you say then? Are Y/N and I gonna be able to have your place to ourselves tonight?" He asks, wiggling his eyebrows at her in the rearview mirror. You hear her scoff harshly, "And where exactly would I go at such short notice, Mr. Barnes? My mama's asleep and my best friend stays with me."

Wrinkling his nose and lifting an eyebrow, Bucky shrugs, "Why don't you spend the night with your guy? Then we could all get what we want." You can't help but roll your eyes and chuckle when Bucky winks at you as he says this. You roommate shakes her head, "The point, Bucky, is that I don't want to be kicked out of my own apartment tonight. And Y/N is covered in bruises, the last thing she needs is anything to put her in any more pain, and that includes the weight of a full grown man on top of her."

Seeing her honest to goodness reluctance, Bucky groans and rolls his head so he's looking at you, "You gonna help me out here, doll?" He queries, a whine in his voice. You shake your head at him, "I'd be perfectly fine just cuddling on my couch, Buck. You're the one who wants alone time, you can find a way to have it."

He groans before his eyes light up with an idea, "Hey, you could take us to my apartment! Y/N, you've never been to my place and I live alone." He's so excited, you can't quite bring yourself to express your worries, but thankfully, your loving roommate does it for you, "Now, you know I like you and Steve just as much as the next guy, Bucky, but I think the other white boys have made it quite clear exactly how they feel about us black folk, and I don't want Y/N to get hurt. I definitely don't want to risk her getting hurt when she hasn't even healed yet."

Immediately, Bucky's face falls and you can see him feeling guilty for even suggesting putting you in another situation that could anywhere near resemble your previous night. Your heart sinks and every bruise pulsing painfully on your body seems to be working double time to remind you why this wouldn't be a good idea, but heaven knows this white boy will be the death of you.

"We can stop at the club and pick up Stephanie, that  way you aren't driving throuh that neighborhood by yourself when you drop me off at Buck's place." She goes to argue, but you don't let her get the words out, "It's dark out, nobody will even be paying us any attention. And Bucky is with me this time. Besides, those white boys have another thing coming if they think I won't beat the hell out of them this time. I hate hospitals, you know that."

Your best friend doesn't bother to hide her worry, but you see her pull up by the club, "Fine. I'm gonna go grab Steph, then you two will have to stop staring at each other because Bucky is gonna have to give me directions." She doesn't let you say thank you before getting out and closing the door. Once she's in the front door, Bucky laughs, "Baby doll, you're perfect." He says, pulling your face towards his and kissing you.

Before the kiss can get out of control, Stephanie and your roommate get into the car, "Look at Y/N, smackin all over herself a white man. I never thought I'd see the day." Stephanie says, looking back at the two of you with an eyebrow raised playfully. Your roommate huffs, "You would have wished there wasn't a day if you'd been at the hospital."

Now Stephanie gasps, "You were at the hospital! I know my say probably won't do much, and no offense to your white man, but what are you gonna do in the mornin? You can sneak in at night, but how do we know he can protect you in the day time?" Bucky scoffs when she says this, "None taken, Steph, and you can call me Bucky. Despite contrary belief, I don't always go by white boy or white man."

At his words, Stephanie barely spares him a glance, making you speak up before either of them can make this a chillier ride, "I'm gonna be fine, Steph. You don't have to have faith in Buck because I do. And I'll snag a knife from his kitchen in case any other white boys try it. I won't be in little heels or by myself this time. Enough about me though, your sister told me you've been kissin on your own boy. What happened to the Warren's boy bein a horse short of a barn?"

Bucky pouts at the lack of attention he gets for the rest of the ride as you and the other girls giggle and talk about girl stuff. At least the tension has practically evaporated.

When the car stops in front of Bucky's apartment, you and the girls all exchange a kiss on the cheek and a warning to be careful, "Call me tomorrow so I can hear aboutyou and your white boy!" Stephanie calls from the window as they drive off. Bucky shakes his heand and grabs your hand, "Into my humble abode we go baby doll." He says, a boyish smile on his face as he pulls you up the stairs.
