Alyssa's P.O.V. I was so excited. Tomorrow, Saturday, was going to be the biggest day of the year. Tomorrow was my birthday and birthday party. My birthday parties always are on the weekend after my birthday. Always on Saturdays. And this year my birthday was on a Saturday, so hurray for 2 in 1! My two favorite things in the whole wide world are rollerskating and magic. I want to live a very magical life, so my career will be being a rollerskating magician. I will cater birthday parties too. So every year, I have my party at my favorite rollerskating place, Roll On. We roller skate for a while, and next, a magician will come and make us balloons and show us tricks, and then we eat pizza and share a huge magic-full cake with roller-skates and a magician painted on it with chocolate frosting on the vanilla cake, and with candles and a big unicorn topper, my favorite make-believe animal. Afterwards, we open presents and skate some more, and next we have a sleepover. I was trying to guess what all my family and friends got me. A big fluffy black cape with stars on it? A balloon animal kit? A unicorn magic card deck? A fun tricks pack? Or maybe a magic book? A new magic top hat or rabbit? Ooh, I know, I know. A new pair of roller skates with starry wheels and unicorns on them?! Oh, that would be quite the sight! I would love that oh so much! I guessed all these as I saw pictures of them all on Amazon, only the best online shopping site. "Honey, will you please unlock the door?", said a voice in the distance. "Coming, mom.", I said. I got up and unlocked it. There was still silence. "Mom, it's unlocked now. You can come in.", I said, as I raced to shut my laptop. I heard her open the door. "It's time for bed. Now put the laptop and phone away.", she said, as she gave me a hug and kiss and tucked me in. As soon as she was gone, and she had turned off my light, I thought about the goody-bags I had made for all my friends. I had made rubber band bracelets, put in a notepad and crayons and a pencil, an eraser, stickers, an activity pad, a bouncy ball, some candy, a candy fan, and thank you card. Same for the boys. The only difference was content. The boys got rollerskating themed stuff, and the girls got magic themed stuff, which included make believe stuff. The party hats, piniata for after the last bit of skating, confetti, those things where you blow into them and it makes a noise, and the top hat I would wear was all put together, too. It was going to be a long night. I had thought about sneaking and seeing my presents from mum and dad, but......... Zzzzzzzzzzzz See you in the morning. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
