Sarah's P.O.V. When I got home, I immediately raced inside, the folded book in pocket, magic in bag. "Can I see the present, sweetie?", asked my mom. "Here it is.", I said, pulling the book out of the bag. "So, does she need to buy anything for the tricks?", my mom asked, glancing at the book. "Nope. Just normal household items. And the book is in great shape too. She'll love it. I just know it.", I said. "Where's the leftover money?", asked my mom. "It costed $10, mom.", I said, trying my best to sound convincing, not wanting to lose the precious book in my pocket. "I have a hard time believing that.", said my mom, giving me "the look". "It's true. I swear. And it's thick, got some great content, and an awesome cover too, so who would blame them?", I said. "Ok, ok, I believe you. Besides, it doesn't look like you have anything else.", she said, not noticing the tiny book.
