Journey [1D]

i didn't really plan THIS

I was 6:40 and I was so glad I only had 20 minutes left so I decided to just get my things together and get ready to leave. I was excited to go to the movies with Niall and the whole time I was working I was texting Jme telling her about it. She had picked some clothes out for me so when me and Edith go back I can quickly get ready.

I was leaning on the counter and Edith came in with her stuff. "20 more minutes huh." she said as she came closer just looking at the items on the racks. "Yup" I said popping the P.

I locked my phone and put it in my back pocket. I looked around for my other co- worker but I assumed he was in the back. "Dane can I just go now? I kinda have to go somewhere!" I said as I was putting my sweater back on again. "Where are you going?" he asked from the back room. "Out." I said smiling. "I feel you smiling" he said while barely laughing. "Okay. Just go. I'll close up alone darling." he said coming out the back to be facing me. " Wait but shouldn't you be closing now? There are only like 15 minutes left." I said tilting my head a bit.

He let out a faint chuckle and he shook his head. "Jade. The WHOLE MALL doesn't close until 10:00. Me and you were supposed to be here until 10:00". I walked over to a little drawer that had the schedule and he was right. I saw white out over the time and it was changed to 10:00. "Damn. You are making feel bad for leaving you alone" i said to him.

"So does that mean that I'm taking the car?" said Edith butting into the conversation. I rolled my eyes because I don't really like anyone driving my car but I opened my bag and I tossed her the keys. "Not a single scratch Edith. And be careful" I said with total seriousness. "I'll be fine" she said while turning around. "I WAS TAKING ABOUT MY CAR" I yelled as she walked out. "I KNOW YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT ME..." she yelled back.

Once she left I text Niall to let him know I couldn't go because of my schedule.

I was all dolled up to go to the movies . I even got a hair cut xD

He sent me a picture of him and his new hair cut and he still looked the same. He was basically still the cutest man alive. I looked at the background and I recognized that lamp.

speaking of home... its Christmas eve. shouldnt you be with your family or something?

I was supposed to but something came up. shouldn't YOU be with your family!?.

When I read that message I remembered why I was still here. I felt like my heart contracted but I guess maybe not this year.

my mom wasn't answering my calls or texts so I don't even know if she is even at home. she probably went to my grandmothers house or something but yeah. I'm here with my friends :D

I have presents for all of ya and I know for a fact that you will LOVE YOURS.

oh really? xD okay. I got presents too but I thought it was just going to be me and the girls so I left them in my closet.
