Chapter 2

Destiny's POV

I hear my wolf just howling with joy at the fact of finding our mate. I come out if my shock and look at my worst enemy. Why is he my enemy, you ask? Here, let me tell you why. We never really got along ever since we were little. He always pulled my hair and was mean to me. In elementary school, he spread the word that I had cooties and no one would even talk to me, let alone come near me for a month. When we got into middle school he would always find a way to ruin my day. Wether it be hiding everything in my locker or destroying my homework. Now in high school, he started hanging out with a "bad" crowd and soon, he got the reputation of the "bad boy". That didn't stop him from picking on me though. Except, now instead of destroying things of mine, he always said sexual things to me.

You know you enjoyed it a little, my wolf said to me.

'Shut up', I replied to Diana while blushing just a little bit.

Snapping back to reality, I see Demitri's eyes darken to a blackish color and glaze over with lust, showing that his wolf has surfaced.

"Mine," he says as he walks, well, more like stalks over to me. He grabs my arms and gently pushes me against the lockers. I feel like electricity is coursing through me as our skin makes contact. It makes me weak to my knees and I'm glad he's there holding me up or else I probably would have fell to the ground. His face slowly gets closer to my neck an he runs his nose along it ever so lightly. He plants light kisses along my jaw and slowly starts to make his way to my lips. It felt so right that I almost didn't stop him.

"Demitri, stop," I said to him firmly before he could get to my lips. He stopped and looked at me as his eyes turned back to their original green color. At first I saw a flash of hurt in his eyes, but as soon as it was there, it left and was replaced by his usual arrogance.

"I got to go to class," he said and without so much as a goodbye, he walked off. I stood their shocked as I watched him walk off.

Hm, I wonder what that was all about, my wolf said.

'I want to know myself, but right now we should get to class,' I tell my wolf. I start walking off in the direction of my first period class.

As I walk in my teacher, Mr. Clark, says "You're late, Destiny. Please have a seat." When I sit down in my seat, Katy gives me a questioning look. I give her a look that says I'll tell you later.

After a boring class period with Mr. Clark, Katy runs up to me.

"What happened? Why were you late to class? I thought you were right behind me," she questions.

I tell her the whole story about how I ran into Demitri and found out he was my mate. I left out the kissing part though, it was an unnecessary detail to tell her. To say she was shocked would be quite the understatement.

"So your mates with the future alpha," she asks. I nod my head. "How is that possible? I thought you guys hated each other."

"Who said we still don't hate each other," I question her and my wolf growls a little at me. "Just because we're mates, doesn't mean we'll somehow magically get along. If you haven't forgotten, he used to torment me. No wait, he still torments me."

"No, I haven't forgotten that. And yes because you're mates with him, you will feel a pull to him. You might not get along now, but I'm sure you guys will get along in the future.. if you know what I mean," she winks at me. I look at her with a confused look for a second, then I realize what she just said and my cheeks turn a light pink at the suggestion. She laughs at me and turns to go to class. "See you later," she yells at me.

I stand and think about what she said. She's right. We will feel a pull toward each other. Will he even want me? I guess if he didn't want me, he would've rejected me when I bumped into him, right? The tardy bell pulls me out of my thoughts. Great, I think to my self, I'm late to another class again.

I know, another short chapter. And I took a long time to update. To be completely honest, I kind if forgot I was writing a story on here. Haha. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed Chapter 2.
