Natalia's P.O.V
That memory shocked me and it was as if I completely forgot about it.
I feel fucking sick.
Literally.
I ran to my bedroom toilet and emptied out my contents into the toilet bowl and wiped my mouth with the back of my hand.
I stood up as tears rolled down my face and I stumbled against the door, holding it for support.
"What the fuck is wrong with me?" I looked into the mirror and stared in horror for what stood before me in the mirror was not myself.
It was a heart broken girl.
Hayden's P.O.V
"We're almost ready to expand. Do you want to start now?" I looked up at my second in command and shook my head.
"Start next week. I want to expand slowly as well. Make sure no one is tracking us as we do it. Understood?" He nodded.
"Yes sir."
"You may leave." I waved him off and he exited my office.
I sighed while smiling as I looked at the picture of Natalia and I laughing together with whipped cream on her nose and a whole cake in her hand trying to get revenge on me.
I wonder what's she doing now.
I picked up my phone and dialled her number.
"I'm sorry the number you have called is currently unavailable. Please call again lat-" I ended the call and dialled again but it said the same thing.
Did something happen to her?
I got up and grabbed my coat off the chair and went out of my office.
"Where are you going boss?" One of my security guard asked me.
"I'm going to visit Natalia. Can you pass me my keys?" He passed me keys to my Ferrari and lowered his head.
"Have a safe journey." I nodded and was on my way to see Natalia.
...
"Nat?" I called out into the darkness.
No answer.
"Natalia?" I looked around the dark house and decided to look in her room for her.
Soft sobbing came from her door and I gently knocked on it.
"Nat?"
"Go away." She tried to shout out but her voice cracked and she became quiet.
I gently turned the knob but it was locked.
So I knocked.
"I'll be waiting here for you." I know she wouldn't let me in so I'll just wait for her to come out.

Natalia's P.O.V
It's been around 2 hours when Hayden has knocked on my door and I'm pretty sure he has already gone home by now.
I feel bad that he was waiting for me but it's okay. I really don't want to talk about it right now so he'll just have to deal with it.
I gently wiped my eyes that is so fucking swollen from crying and ran my hands through my hair before standing slowly.
I turned the door knob and opened the door.
Hayden was still here.
"H-Hayden?" I quietly said because my voice was still hoarse from crying.
"Natalia." He got up and rubbed his eyes.
"Are you okay?" He yawned.
"Go home Hayden." I ignored him and walked past him but he grabbed my elbow and crushed me against him.
"Not until you're okay Nat."
"Let me go right now. I'm not in the mood Hayden if you can't already tell." I tried to push him away but that only made him hug me tighter.
"Nat. Come on. I'm your best friend. I'm here for you alright? Can you at least let me be here for you? Or do you not want me here?" His voice became softer as he reached the end, sounding hurt when he said that.
"I'm sorry Hayden... I do want you to be here for me... Because if you weren't then I would've died by now." I gently laughed a bit through my tears.
I hugged him tighter.
"Hey Hayden?" I whispered after a few moments of comfortable silence.
"Hmm?"
"Tell me honestly."
"Okay? What is it?" I looked up at him.
"Do you like me?"
Hayden's P.O.V
I stared at her.
This was it. But why couldn't I say anything.
"I... I uh..." She looked at me expectantly with those gorgeous green eyes.
"I don't think it's the right time to be talking about this Nat..."I mumbled nervously.
"Why? Just answer me Hayden."
"No. Because... Because you're hurt right now... And I don't want o burden you with any other unimportant things." I racked my brain for an answer and that's all I could say.
"No you won't Hayden. Just tell me." She pushed me away slightly so she could look at me better.
I sighed and closed my eyes before looking at her properly.
"I do. I like you a lot Nat." I quietly said and she looked at me with a gentle smile.
"Good. I like you too Hayden."
"R-Really?" I stuttered.
"Wow I made the amazing Hayden stutter." She laughed lightly.
"Yes Hayden. Really." I pulled her closer.
"You're sure?" I asked.
How can you really balme me for asking and doubting her for liking me? It's been years ever since I had a crush on her all the way until now. So how can you blame me? Like I'm so doubtful to the point where I'm just waiting for her to say that this is a all a joke and she has cameras all around us or that she's just playing a prank on me just for fun.
But as soon as she said she liked me, it was genuine. It was real. It was legitimate.
But I still couldn't trust her. Maybe her acting skills are amazing? Maybe she is just great at-
"Hayden?" She snapped me out of my daydream and pouted.
"Do you not like me anymore? In like the span of 30 seconds?" She tried to look at me with a sad look even though she just cracked a joke.
"No. I still like you a lot. That hasn't changed a bit. I just can't believe this is true that's all..."
"Well you better start believing it because I really really like you and this isn't a joke or anything. I genuinely like you." She looked at me with honesty shining in her eyes.
"Then Natalia Rose, would you be my girlfriend?" She smiled and gave me a kiss on my lips.
"What do you think my answer would be?"
