Aiden's P.O.V
I ran downstairs and grabbed my leather jacket before running into my car and driving off.
As I was driving off, I passed by the security office and the security guard was knocked out.
I made sure to call an ambulance before I continued speeding off to the mansion.
Somebody tried to fucking attack Nicholas.
That doesn't sit well with me at all.
You mess with Natalia's family, you'll have to fucking deal with me now.
They're considered my family now too and nobody comes at my family like that.
"Is everyone assembled?" I called Mike to check.
"Everyone is here. Do you want the weapon dealers here too?"
"Yes. Everyone needs to be there. Every fucking one of them." I ended the call and pulled up to the mansion.
"Boss." The guards nodded at me and I made my way up.
I'm so worried about Natalia. She might get hurt since there's no guards.
I trust Xander but he might not be able to hold off many people if they're all attacking at once.
I know I'm being paranoid but I don't feel safe for her to stay in her own house.
I called Xander again and he immediately picked up.
"Xander. Bring Natalia and Nicholas to the safe house. Ashley too. Call the enforcers. Bring as many people as you can to guard the house." Xander said an "okay" before hanging up.
I sighed and walked down the corridor to the room where the sound of confused voices originated from.
As soon as I opened the door, everyone kept quiet and I sat at the head of the table.
"Someone is going to attack soon." I shut my eyes and clenched my fist.
"Who is it?"
"What are we going to do?"
"When?"
Confused questions filled the air and I opened my eyes again only to be met with confused faces as well.
"Shut up." I said quietly while glaring at everyone.
I slammed the stupid knight chess piece on the table.
"They're coming. I want everyone to be on high alert and to guard Natalia's house when you can. Everyone will take shifts at the safe house and the rest will be getting weapons ready and preparing for combat."
Everyone readily nodded.
"Don't waste any time. Now fucking go." I stood up and immediately went back into my car and drove back to the safe house.
Natalia's P.O.V
I sat on Nicholas's bed and sighed as I stared at his peaceful innocent face.
As long as I'm here, no one will hurt you.
I'll protect you with all my heart Nickle.
I kissed his forehead and smiled.
How can you not want to protect that little boy? He has the kindest and purest heart.
The world hasn't even gotten to him. Not yet that is.
"Natty. We gotta go." Xander frowned as he stuffed his phone into his pocket.
"Why? What's going on? Is Aiden in trouble?" I stared at him with wide eyes, scared that he will confirm my biggest fear to be true.
