Leaving the Great Tree

Naruto had packed up the few articles of clothing he had and was at the west gate, he was waiting for the sandaime to drop off the items they had talked about, as he was about to leave the Hokage showed up with a bag of scrolls. "Naruto, this bag has many scrolls in it with many techniques, but I want you to promise me something as a last wish, I want you to promise me you will only open the scrolls in order, I have them numbered and don't want you to go through them too fast as you could mortally wound yourself, and that's not something I want." Naruto nodded, it seemed reasonable enough as he had heard of ninja trying to go too far too fast and end up destroying their chakra coils, muscles, and bones in the process.
"Sure old man, I promise, you want me to master each one I'm sure, so I'll go about it in the way you want."
"Last thing, in this wallet is 10,000 ryo, after every five scrolls you will get more money, and the scrolls are in a blood seal so just wipe some of your blood on it and it will open."
"You got it old man, your terms are reasonable, perhaps one day I'll come back here, stronger than ever." With that Naruto left on his way to Suna, perhaps he could learn some techniques there that would be useful.

Naruto had been on the road for a few days and had gotten to a few stops along the way, he was nearing the border of river, he could feel it, the air had a different smell to it than forest and it felt more humid, he decided to take a break and look at the first scroll he had to master.
After ruffling through the bag for a while he found the scroll marked 1 and cut his thumb to open it. The scroll opened to a short detailed way to unlock chakra.
Naruto, although I know you told me you have no desire to learn about ninjutsu or genjutsu I decided unlocking your chakra was the best first step for you as many taijutsu and Kenjutsu techniques require you to use chakra to be able to master them, therefor I'm sorry to say that the first five will all be chakra based as Kenjutsu requires fin tuned chakra and your chakra pool is massive meaning it will require a lot of control.
The way to unlock your chakra is through meditation, you close your eyes, empty your mind and just feel, when you feel a warmth in your gut tug on it until it releases into the rest of your body, but don't pull too hard, you are special Naruto, and the abilities that might give you are for, just believe in me and trust these scrolls will teach you later.
Naruto nodded and did as the scroll told him, he meditated, for hours he sat, waiting, feeling, he eventually felt warmth in his gut like the scroll told him, but when he pulled he felt a burning sensation, he pulled on it for a bit before he felt like he was burning and released his hold on the chakra, it felt warm all over and he could feel everything, even the forests, the air, it felt so alive, so real, it was an addicting feeling, but then he felt something coming towards him and he opened his eyes, only to notice a bandit coming at him. The bandit slashed his sword at the child and Naruto caught it with his hand, after the pain he went through this was nothing, his hand slid down the blade, making the cut deeper, still empowered by the burst of chakra he ripped the sword from the man's hands and stabbed him through the stomach with it before pulling it out and slicing his throat, blood was everywhere, his and the bandits, he didn't even look for identification, merely took his money and his blade and left, Naruto wouldn't allow anyone to make him feel the pain he felt that night, not for a moment, he would kill all that stood in his way, friend or foe alike, as he was a lone wolf now, free to do as he wished, he would not have it taken from him by mere bandits, he wouldn't go out, not without a fight.

Hiruzen had thought about what had happened earlier that day, he then had a grim look on his face as he had called in Hiashi, this would not be a pleasant meeting, anything that had to do with clan politics was never pleasant, but those with dojutsu were even worse.
"You called for me Hokage-Sama? The Hokage puffed on his pipe a bit, turned to his window for a few minutes before he spoke, "Do you know why I had called you here?"
Hiashi looked puzzled, "I can't say I do, would you mind enlightening me?"
The Hokage smoked his tobacco for a while before responding, "we have a problem Hiashi, something that has to do with a member of your clan specifically as I have not gotten any names yet, but I feel as though I won't need to, tell me, is anyone in your clan missing an eye? A recent mission of sorts that caused them to lose it? Within the last week?"
"Hiashi thought it over before he came to a conclusion, I do have one member but I don't see what this has to..."
"I want names Hiashi, that wound was not from a mission, in fact it was from a child that managed to get a lucky shot in on him, I'd say either he clawed out his eye or bit it out, the eye was lodged in his throat when we found him, he is alive though so you don't have to worry about that kind of legal trouble but he attacked a civilian child with numerous accomplices, I want names so they can be punished, do you see what I'm getting at." Hiashi nodded in understanding.
"I see, the man's name is Takeo Hyuuga, he is a main branch member, is there anything I can do to compensate the child perhaps for this assault? Lessen the punishment, you know the Elders will be in an uproar, and that will cause headaches that I don't need at this time." Hiashi pleaded if only slightly, but Hiruzen smiled a dark smile, "Well compensation has already happened, the boy had had an eye ripped by someone's fingers if the medical reports are correct, after he was healed the best we could get he had awoken and started coughing, the eye of one Takeo Hyuuga was what came up, we were looking for a transplant and it seemed as though that was the best and closest solution, to put it bluntly a seven year old child that is no longer in the village or tied to it in any way has a Byakugan, that is the compensation, but Takeo-San will be brought before Anko and Ibiki, and after he confesses the things he did they will be done to him, ten times worse as he is an adult shinobi, I'm sure you understand."
"A Byakugan is in the open unsealed! You must be joking Hokage-Sama, we can't allow that to happen, we've protected the Byakugan for generations, we can't have a chance of losing it now!"
"Hiashi, I'm going to tell you what happened to the boy based on medical reports and you tell me if this is unfair, now I'm going to tell you, you are going to shut up and listen, and then after I'm going to show you images of the before and after got it." The Hokage's voice was commanding, no nonsense, this was the God of Shinobi, not The Professor, Hiashi wisely nodded and listened.
"He was stabbed in over seventy-five percent of his body, his skin had been slowly, systematically peeled off by kunai, his finger and tow nails were ripped off, he had received third-degree burns to sixty-five percent of his body, his nerves had been fried by a high powered Raiton Jutsu, his lungs, were filled to the brim with water, he could barely breathe, only getting air through the holes that had been punctured in his lungs, they were still pouring out water when we picked him up, and one of his eyes had been forcibly ripped out, most likely by someone's fingers from the looks of the scarring. Now tell me, does anyone who helps in doing that to a child deserves any leniency?" The Hokage commanded, almost daring the Hyuuga clan head to say yes.
A pregnant pause was ensued before the clan head swallowed a bit of bile in his throat, "I... I believe you are right Hokage-Sama, anyone involved in such an act needs to be punished accordingly, wether they be basically nobility or not."
"Just as insurance to my reasoning here are the images from the scene, before and after." Upon seeing the images the clan head blew chunks on the floor, "I'm glad you see it my way Hiashi, now call in my secretary and tell her to bring a mop, two ANBU are going to accompany you to your compound and bring Takeo into custody." The Hyuuga nodded as he staggered out of the office still sick from what he saw.
"I will see justice done to those that pushed you away from your true home Naruto, even if it costs me everything."
