With the help of Ghirahim's magic after he drank one of my green potions, and after bandaging my wound at my side that Ghirahim healed as much as he could, along with my shoulder completely, – as he apologized profusely, despite me telling him there was no need to – we took Ganondorf's body out of the castle. The sky is now back to normal, with the sun high in the sky to signal it's the afternoon, its hot rays beating down on my tired body. Clouds drift lazily in the sky, and I can already hear birds chirping again, while the trees miraculously have leaves once more, the grass returning to a healthy green, and the flowers becoming as vibrant as they were before Ganondorf escaped his seal.

Once outside the castle, the guards suddenly flood from their barracks, some injured and others looking frightened. The princess quickly walked over to them to talk with them while I stayed with Ghirahim as he housed Ganondorf's body in a black diamond, like the pink crystal Ganondorf held Princess Zelda in. Come to think of it, it really seems Ganondorf was trying to re-enact my old journey. I shake my head at his strange ways and wait in silence for Princess Zelda to return from talking with the guards.

"Healers will tend to the wounded and any able-bodied guard will go into Castle Town with a few healers to check on the citizens. Shall we depart to the Gerudo Desert?" Princess Zelda informs, readiness in her eyes.

Ghirahim nods, "Everyone, hold onto my arm."

We do so and Ghirahim snaps his fingers, bringing us to a ruin within the desert that he and Princess Zelda knew of that I have never travelled to. Once arriving there, we on a pedestal within the large ruin. It looks like a large, circular, open dome made of dark sandstone and with many pillars along the walls. Within it is sand and a platform with a dark mirror-like object with chains holding it to a stone platform and a half-moon stone frame holding the mirror in place. Intricate designs cover its surface. When I take a closer look at the mirror, I see strange patterns in rings within its reflective surface and a Triforce in the middle of those patterns, all in a stark white against its obsidian surface. A large, ebony slab sits behind the mirror, reflecting the afternoon sun off its surface.

"Are you prepared to summon the powers of the sages who have passed?" Ghirahim asks, looking toward Princess Zelda.

She nods, "As long as you are prepared to give them form once more."

He nods and sets the black diamond-crystal encasing Ganondorf in front of the ebony slab. The diamond shatters and Ganondorf is set up in chains against the slab, his head hanging low. Princess Zelda then clasps her hands together and brings them to her chest. She closes her eyes and bows her head. Then, she turns her expression to the sky and six white orbs fly down from it, hovering in front of her as she keeps her eyes closed. Then, Ghirahim snaps his fingers, his gaze fixated upon the white orbs of light.

After his fingers snap, the six orbs become spirits in long robes atop their own platforms with mask-like faces that have beards, all of them having pointed ears and three halos of assorted sizes atop their heads, starting from small to large, with a half moon symbol above the halos. All of them have the symbol of their respected temple medallion near the bottom of their robes and they are all transparent but still have a white glow to them.

Ghirahim looks toward me, "Skychild, I regret to inform you that you must return your medallions to these spirits."

My eyes widen, "Why? If I do, anything I kill near you, – if I must defend us or someone else – you'll feel their pain."

He nods, "I know. I have lived with that consequence my entire existence and during other lives. I have even taken lives this life when I was unable to resolve something without killing. It is an inevitability with my ability, and I accept it. I am sorry you will be parting with your magic, though."
