Everything Changes in 17 Seconds

Chapter 3

ANGELA POV

The game was starting in 10 minutes and the players were heading back in the locker room. As Saad walked by, we made eye contact and he smiled and winked at me. Ahh! Every player was then finished going to the locker room.

*10 min later*

Its game time! Loud music starts to play and we all cheer. As the Hawks come out , we stook our hands out again. This time me and Saad did not make eye contact.

ANDREW POV

As the Hawks get all settled on the bench and on the ice for puck drop, Coach Q turns around and gives me a funny look. I think hes on to me. He then turns back around as the puck drops. the game is underway!

*30 min later*

ANGELA POV

The first period is over and the score is 1-0 Hawks! The lone goal was by Seabrook with a wrister. Since Andrew hasnt been in the UC in a long time for a hawks game, we walk around. We also stop to get something to eat. As we walk around, Andrew gets funny looks from some of the fans. He thinks they're on to him. He looks so nervous and scared. He's trying to pretend that he is nothing.

ANTHONY POV

So far this game has been alot of fun! The MadHouse is so** loud and crazy. I love it!! The game was just about to start. We were walking back to our seats, when we got a tap on our shoulders. It was John! He told us the same thing that our dad did, to stay longer after alot of people left and he or Rocky Wirtz would meet up with us, right where we were sitting!

ANGELA POV

*1 HOUR LATER*

The 3rd period is almost over and the score is 5-2! Goals by Seabrook (2), Toews, Kane, and Saad. We have been playing amazing. Especially Crow! 3 minutes left in the game and they still did not pull Rask. In the 3rd, the Bruins out shot the Hawks 20-14. They did not score in the third. Crawford was a brick wall! THen i see Chara.. ewww i really really really dont like him. He was the one who injured my brother. i see him skating fast and hard at Shaw after he passes the puck. My heart stops! Shaw cannot get hurt. Playoffs are coming up soon and we cannot afford to loose him because he is a key player. ALl of a sudden we see Chara forecheck Shaw! Shaw just layed there on the ice and did not move. The UC went numb and we were all in shock. Some of the Hawks skated over and helped him off the ice. Everyone claps. Chara leaves too... escorted by the reffs! Then finally, the Bruins pull rask with 1"30 left in the 3rd. Score was stll 5-2.

ANTHONY POV

They pulled Rask and I'm having a good feeling about them scoring an ENG. (empty net goal) OUr power play had just ended and the bruins were kepping th puck in our zone. Lucic has the puck and does a forehand, backhand on Crawford and tries to go top shelf but Crawford blocks it and send it out of our zone to theirs. No body touched the puck as it past center ice to their zone. From what I could see, the puck was headed for the empty net. It went in!! Crawford had scored a goal! His first NHL goal! Everyone jumped up and cheered so loud! My sister was soo* happy.

ANGELA POV

Did Crow really just score a goal? No way! Crawford you're special. I love you. The game ended with a 6-2 victory over the Bruins. Goals by Seabrook (2), Toews, Kane, Saad, and... Crawford! It was an amazing game! Hopefully Shaw gets better soon.

THere were only about 100 people left in the arena. We were still sitting in our same spots, watching the zamboni clean the ice, just as Rocky Wirtz came to our seats. He told us to follow him. we walked and walked and walked untill we cmae to double doors that said CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS ONLY on it.
