The Alpha is the leader of their pack. They can mate with whoever they like from a rank. Some packs have more than one Alpha -it tends to be two max. If an order is given by an Alpha, that order is followed. End of story. Any wolf who questions the Alpha's choice is open to the Alpha's wrath, should the Alpha decide to be vengeful. It is the Alpha's responsibility to look after their pack. All Alphas have a lot of responsibility and are asked to keep up and interact with their pack as much as possible.
