Mark had dropped Georgia off before driving him and his brother to the robot. It would've been easier to say that earlier, but since his girlfriend was unaware he was part of the team, he had to keep it on the down low. What he didn't keep secret was his reaction to the news that had came upon him. And as much as he was happy that his little brother found someone he really liked in that way, he wished that it was someone more tolerable. I bet the cheerleader wished for that herself when it came to him. Yup, their relationship was a playful, yet rocky one. And although that this meant they had to deal with one another for the sake that she was dating his brother, it still didn't take away from the fact that this had completely rattled his mind.
That was clearly shown before the former jock even pulled out of the school parking lot. The loud horn from his car blared, causing the attention to shift to him. His head was on the wheel, indicating he used it to beep the horn. Georgia glanced at the young pilot, who just felt awkward. He had finally let up his head in due time, but that in general proves that he knew that this was only the start of what's to come. He was happy for his little sibling overall. He could tell that this brought the fifteen year old joy. And if he had to put up with someone like Ryley to keep him that way, then that's what he was going to do.
The drive to the ferry wasn't a long one. He's been there before obviously so this wasn't really all that difficult to find. Pulling up near the junkyard, the older Walker brother stopped his car. The adopted child of the family had hopped into the front seat after Georgia was dropped off. Neither one of them got out of the car just yet. The freshman wanted to text his friends to let them know he and his brother were here. He felt that he was being stared at after the text was sent. This led him to return the stare and question his older sibling.

"What?" Ryan asked.

Mark shook his head.

"Nothing. I just wanted to check on you." He replied.

The pilot shrugged.

"I'm fine. I just need to find some things out." Ryan told him.

"Okay but, just don't-"

"Do anything I'll regret. I get it." Ryan reassured him.

Mark nodded. The two opened their car doors and headed out. While they were busy making their way through the piles of trash, Leo was showing Harris, Veracity, and Spyder something he had found earlier. I hope you didn't forget, little parts are never little when you live in a world where there's Mech X4. In this case, that role always plays its part.

"A barrier?" Harris questioned.

"It alerted me immediately. It's something around the city that we didn't catch." Leo informed.

"How did this form?" Veracity inquired.

"It's not normal. It's a type of barrier that only-"

"Certain people can make?" Spyder guessed.

Leo looked at him.

"Exactly." He answered.

"When did this even form?" Harris asked.

"It happened a few weeks ago." Leo told him.

"But why was it picked up just now?" Veracity posed.

"The energy from the barrier is getting stronger." Leo stated.

That's when the two Walker bros came in. They heard the conversation from the elevator and quickly joined the others.

"There's a barrier?" Mark queried.

The four of them turned around.

"Yeah, it formed weeks ago. The power has been increasing in a matter of days." Harris replied.
