Leaving you (Ch;4)

"Anything you like? Ryan questions, looking over my head. "I'm not sure yet, I like this" I say holding up a t-shirt that was purple. "Well if you like it get it" He says smirking, I shove him playfully. "I'm not sure yet".

He glances around the mall, and a smile spreads on his face. "How about over there?" He says pointing at a shoe store. "Yes!" I say dropping the shirt and walking over to the store. Once we get there, I'm heading to the back looking for some converse.

"Anything you need" A middle aged man questions, walking over to where I'm looking. "No, I'm fine" I say waving him off, and he just nods turning around. "I love these" I say grabbing some red converse, "There cool" Ryan says glancing at them.

"Yeah, I hope they have my size" and just thinking about it makes me feel nervous. "What size?" He questions kneeling done beside be, and going through the boxes.

"Nine" I squeak out, feeling my cheeks heat up. "What?" He says glancing up at me, making my cheeks heat up even more. "Nine" I say loudly, and I wait for him to start laughing but he doesn't. "Okay" He says smiling at me softly, and grabs the shoe box. I take it and thank him kindly, I try it on and perfect fit. "Now, what's next" He says after I pay.

"Shorts, some sweats and some-" But I can't say it. "And?" "Some Underwear" I say. He nods a smirk all over his face, "shh" I say shoving him lightly

"What every girl needs some, it's not a big deal" He says nudging me lightly. I just nod because I don't know how to respond. to him being so sweet. We walk around Hollister and I buy three sweaters, he brings me to Hotopic and I buy three pairs of skinny jeans and nine pairs of shirts. "Now too?" He says smiling at me softly.

"This is enough, thank you" I say shoving him slightly. He nods and walks farther until I hear his name being called. "Ryan!" He turns around quickly, a smile growing on his face. "Jenny!" He yells back making me turn around also, when  I see her she has dark green eyes, almost the color of the trees. She is short and skinny, long fingers stretched out in a wave. He walks over to her, hugging her tightly. They begin talking and once again, I feel like i'm in the wrong place at the wrong time. Turning around I walk down by the  eating area. I see a line for smoothies, and I jump in.

I can see them still talking, and I can feel myself feel lonely. I miss Val, yeah I know I shouldn't and it's wrong but god I miss him so much it hurts just even his smile makes we want to cry, and hide. But I can't do that I'm here with Ryan, my "dance" partner who is chatting it up with a long time friend maybe ? At this moment, I wish I would of ignored his offer and just went to the academy to practice, I'm a little edgy and I need alot more work. "Can I help you?" A tall blonde questions, making me snap out of trance. "Banana Strawberry please?" I question he nods grabbing my folded up five dollars and putting it in.

I remove my gaze and look at the clock, 6;34am wow, this day is getting longer by the minuet. "Here you go" I grab it and thank him. I walk farther down the mall, glancing around the shops, knowing that Ryan and the Jenny girl are still talking. Until something catches my eye, a job form for a book store just like back home.

Home, somewhere I really don't know about. A place where my best-friend killed herself, and my  boyfriend cheated. All at once place that held so much memories, that one place that made me feel so lost. England didn't make me feel happy, or anything. I just thought starting over was for the best.

And I knew it was going to be hard, but hey. So I walk into the store and I'm met with a young women, around the early thirties. "Hi" I say softly, walking up to the counter. "Hello, what can I do for you?" Her accent thick and strong. "I'm looking for a job, and I saw this so I was hoping you could hire me?" I say smiling.

"Hmm, did you have experience?" she questions. "Yes, Back In California I worked at Mels book store, I really liked it there" She nods, and thinks for a minuet. "Tomorrow at 10am don't be late" I nod and thank her, making my way out of the store. "There you are!" Ryan says grabbing my arm quickly "Oh hey" I say sipping on my smoothie. "Where did you go?" He says eyeing me "To look for a job and got one plus you were busy so I just thought I should just look around." His eyes look at me for a minuet, then he look's away.

"I''m happy for you!" He says finally shaking my shoulders a bit. I nod and we begin walking back to his car. "Thank you again, for today and all but we need to get back so I can begin practicing" "Okay, Can I join you?" He questions "Sure I don't see why not" I say and he chuckles unlocking his car for me.

On the way back  I keep quiet, looking through my bags and smiling who would of thought? It's quiet for a couple of more minuets when a huge  building comes into sight. "This is the Academy?" I say shocked.

"Yes mam" He says parking and getting out. I look at it my eyes growing wide, well this is way more fancy than I thought. "Come along" He call walking ahead of me and I take a deep breathe and smile.

Here is to new starts.
