I think deep down all of us are afraid of something...I mean we wouldn't be human if we didn't fear anything. Whether it's a fear of death, clowns, spiders...everyone has at least one thing they fear. I noticed that there are two main reasons people fear things. One is because they know what it can do, and two is because of the unknown. I personally am afraid of being on an Airplane, and it's not because of what I know about being on an airplane. It's because of the stories I've heard and the unknown. Fear is caused by experiences you've had with something or stories you hear. If you fear something or you if don't it's because of how much you let your experience affect you. Some people may go through the same experiences and one of them could end up fearing it their whole lives, and the other may end up facing that fear. I think understanding your fear is the first step to curing or at least coping with your fears. I actually think the unknown is the root of a lot of things. It's the reason why people don't try new things, why some people are reclusive. All because of the unknown...I'm not saying the world is an easy place or that you won't have problems. Life can be like hell but it's still worth it to go out there, explore the unknown. There are risks but whats worse is the regrets...Don't get me wrong I'm not a psychiatrist or anything. In fact, I'm dealing with a bunch of issues myself right now. I'm just writing for those who might relate or learn something new from my thoughts.
