Chapter VII

[Late Nights With You]

Usually, Taehyung hates these.

By these, he means the mandatory and pointless arrange marriage dates he has to attend twice every month and usually its meant to begin after every kid from one of South Korea's wealthy families turns twenty-one years of age.

Except that wasn't the case when it came to him and his brothers.

See, his so call parents wouldn't be the conniving and controlling assholes they were if they didn't raise the stake by ruining their kid's life by age sixteen and forcing them on dates to pick a future wife or future husband when they hadn't even graduated from the hell that was high school.

So as a present for his sixteenth birthday - one he spent away from his parents and all the things he hated as his brothers had booked a trip to Cancun, where the three of them along with Yoongi and Jimin had spent a week enjoying themselves, gaining new things as well as losing - he received an email from his parents about an arranged dated scheduled for three weeks.

He had been on twenty-three stupid dates with girls he would never take a second glance or ever be interested in even with a gun pointed at his head. And it isn't because he is gay and very much in love with Park Jimin, but all of those twenty-three girls were stuck up and thought way too highly of themselves making it seem as though he should feel special for being in their presence.

He may be a fool in love, but none of them had the right to think so highly of themselves when they weren't half the beauty that was park Jimin, inside and out.

He hated everyone one of them, and because he despises females that think of themselves as some kind of gift to mankind it wasn't hard to insult and hurt their feelings with help from his lovely boyfriend of course.

But for some reason, his current date, which equals to twenty-four arranged wasn't all the hell that he was expecting, because for one his date, Park Sooyoung wasn't interested in him or who his family was. She was actually very pretty in 'we can be best friends' kind of way not that I attracted to you and what you are selling.

Secondly, she was actually nice and didn't speak as though the world revolves around her.

She was bold and straight to the point, seeing as she introduced like this, "Hi, I am Park Sooyoung and I am not interested but I am gonna sit down and we are gonna pretend that I am. I am in love with someone else but until I have enough money to run away from this hell, I am gonna smile and pretend I am happy to be here."

Taehyung had liked her instantly as he smiled and introduced himself as well.

And they had been talking so far about their likes and dislikes and their hatred for their controlling parents, and for the first time he is actually enjoying himself and is so engaged in the conversation that he doesn't notice Jimin walk into the restaurant only to walk right back out once he sees him smiling for the first time at the girl sitting opposite him.
