“Grape?” a voice asked as a small red grape appeared in front of Sigyn’s eyes.

“No thank you.” Sigyn answered the voice as she continued to look at the computer screen.

“Do you eat?” The voice asked and then Tony Stark appeared in Sigyn’s peripheral vision as she continued to stare at the computer screen.

   “Yes” She growled.

“Well you haven’t eaten in days.”

“I don’t have to eat as much as you mortals, so would you please go away and let me work?”

“Not until you eat this grape.”

Sigyn rolled her eyes and then very annoyed answered. “Fine give me the damn grape!” And held open her mouth as Tony popped the grape in, Sigyn glared at him out of the corner of her eye as she chewed and Tony looked on curiously.

   “Good yea?”

“Fine, now would you please go away?”

“You know for an evil villain you are awfully polite.”

Sigyn let out an exasperated groan but then turned her head to look at Tony. “Who said I was an ‘evil villain’?”

   “Well you must be.”

   “Well I’m not.”

“Alright princess, don’t get your knickers in a twist.”

Sigyn shot him her harshest glare and with that Tony held up his hands defensively and quickly left the room. Sigyn sighed contentedly at the silence and turned back to her work. She knew what the message said, what she was really trying to figure out was how to stop what was coming, how to stop what she had done.

Flashback…

“They are looking for you again my dear.” Frigga said to Sigyn as she came into her private study and found the younger woman pouring over one of her magic books.

“Yes they don’t stop really.” Sigyn said looking up from her book for only a moment to give Frigga a small smile.

“What about Loki? I thought you two had a certain attraction towards each other?”

“Yes, well I decided that I should take some time to collect myself and discover who I truly am before I get involved in any kind of relationship with anyone, especially those of the opposite sex considering how little I know about them.”

“That is a wise thought my dear, but I am afraid that you cannot hide in my study forever.” Frigga said understandingly as she walked over to where Sigyn sat.

“I know, but I know nothing of these situations and I have no idea what to do. I don’t know how to react properly around them and I don’t know how long I can ignore them without causing permanent harm. But hiding from them, Loki especially, is easier than facing them.”

Frigga let out a sigh taking Sigyn’s hand in hers as she sat down across from her. “I understand how you must feel my dear, and with Thor I can see why you would want to hide. He would not understand, but Loki, he will if you tell him how you are feeling he will do his best to help you, even if helping you means leaving you be for a while.”

“Do you think so?” Sigyn asked lifting her head up from her book to look Frigga in the eye.

“I know my sons well dear, their strengths and their weaknesses. Tell Loki how you are feeling and then he will find a way to make his brother understand, he always does.” The two women shared a smile and Sigyn stood up.
