"Then what was the point" she looks at me with disappointment.

"I just needed to see him and hear him out. What he really had to say. I miss him Cat I really do. But I can't stand being around him, knowing what he did. It's like half of me wants to be with him and the other half just wants to be over him. My heart is torn and I can seem to fix it."

I looked out of the window letting tears escape my eyes. We sat facing each other on the bed.

"Where is he" I look at her and her face isn't happy.

"I'm guessing he just left." My head bobs low and she leaves the room.

Cathy's p.o.v

"Louis!" He turns around from His car and rolls his eyes.

"Are you here to beat me up again." Sarcasm in his voice only made me want to yell at him more. I got closer to him and my hand hits his chest unexpectedly.

"What the fuck man. You played yourself. I mean look at what you lost. A girl that goes out of her way just to please you and who rode with you through thick and thin. A girl who loved you regardless of your flaws. Oh and trust me there is a lot. You can easily be replaced, but a girl like that? Good luck finding someone who put up with you as she did. She's going to smile at you and tell you everything is fine but when you really look into her eyes you can tell that you broke her. And nothing can fix her."

The tears in his eyes said it all. I walked away confident that I made him feel the way she did. I opened the apartment building but I didn't hear it close.

"Wait!" I heard him scream when I was opening the apartment door. He was down the hall. I waited for him to come, I didn't want him to but if this night could get any worse might as well let it happen.

He walked in and I saw the sad eyes Alex had. I looked back at him and in his eyes, there were tears. Lonely tears that won't be replaced with love. I made my way to the bedroom leaving them alone.

Louis' p.o.v

"I won't ask you to come back... All I ask is that you tell me you felt it to; the love, the yearning for one another. Just tell me that you were happy, even for a little while, please, tell me that I made you happy."

"Of course you did. You made me the happiest I've ever been. To happy. It almost felt like it was fake. And every time I was happy, I would close my eyes and just see your face smiling at me. When you look at me and smile, it's like for a split second everything stops, and your smile pierces through all of the bad in my life and all is well again."

"I want to make you feel like that again. I want you to be so happy that the world around you seems fake. Ever since I saw you walk through that classroom door. Looking for a seat, I fell in love with you. You have no idea how hard it was for someone as geeky as me to impress someone like you. Since that day until today, I've never stopped loving you." A small sympathetic smile came across my face. But she wasn't fazed by my words at all.

"I remember when you meant nothing to me. I wasn't aware of your existence. But now your the reason I have these awful bags under my eyes. I stay up until 4 a.m thinking about you. It's bizarre how a person like you could mean nothing to me and in a matter of hours, days, weeks, or months you mean the absolute world to me. Even though you make my heart drown in a sea of regret and leave a hurricane of bittersweet memories behind."

Tears rolled down her cheeks and I tried so hard not to touch her from her remark from earlier.

"I'm afraid," I told her. She looked up at me confused.
