If your wondering why I put "board" in the title, it's because I don't use a canvas for some o my paintings! A cheaper way is to just use some board you have. My board isn't styrofoam, but it isn't card stock either. It's more of a really thick card stock? It's not wood either... Eh, I'll let you know later when I ask my teacher what it is.
The only flaw I see in using the board is that if the board gets too wet, then it will begin to bend. But as the cheap Sophomore I am, I don't really care! <3
