"That should do it. I'll be on comms." Kana concluded.
"Very well. Shall we crack on?" Johnny asked, looking at his face in the mirror.
Joe tilted the mirror away from Jack. "Let's get cracking."

Joe followed Dangerfield's lead as they headed to the hotel. It was the tallest building in the area, emanating twin spires of bright light.
"What is this, the Shinra building?" Joe scoffed.
They slipped quickly through the lavish lobby and straight for the elevators. Only then did a security guard step into their path.
"Just a moment, sirs--"
Johnny was quick to reach for his phone, flashing the invitation. "We're late enough as it is."
His attitude didn't phase the guard, and Joe watched as the man checked the invite.
'He probably sees hoity-toity types all the time.' Joe thought.
Satisfied with the invitation's authenticity, the guard moved to the side and Joe and Johnny jumped into the empty elevator.
As Johnny checked his reflection n the paneling, Joe gave the security camera a thumb's up.
"Okay." Kana's voice buzzed through the comms unit. "Recording now."
After capturing Joe and Johnny via camera footage, Kana replaced the live footage with a loop of the two standing in the elevator. In the meantime, Joe turned to Johnny.
"Gimme another leg up, bro."
Johnny offered his shoulder with a look of disdain. "Mind your shoes this time."
"Yeah yeah..." With the leg up, Joe hoisted himself through the emergency hatch and atop the moving elevator.
Red markers went by at each floor and the car moved quickly up the shaft.
At 22, Joe jumped, latching onto the wall and holding his breath and the car continued to speed upward.
"Definitely...Didn't miss...this spy junk..."
Grabbing the emergency grips, he pried the elevator doors open slowly.
The hallway was empty and to Joe's horror, fluorescent green.
"Oh, it's a Chau nest, alright."
Meanwhile, the elevator made its way up to the last floor. Johny was once again stopped by a guard as he exited the elevator. Once again he flashed the invitation.
The guard squinted. "Where's your plus one?"
Johnny shrugged. "In the Loo. I'll come back down for him when he gets up here."
The security guard shrugged, moving aside.
As Johnny moved on to the adjacent elevator, he tapped one of his cufflinks.
"Aboringo. Status?"
Joe slipped on his sunglasses. While the hallway had taken on a nasty green shade, it was otherwise similar to any other hotel's empty halls.
From Joe's glasses, Kana was able to scan the hall. Joe moved swiftly towards the first door to his right.
He tapped the glasses, changing the readers to thermal scanners. No life was detected beyond the door.
"Sweet." Joe pushed back his sleeve and adjusted his new toy. "Go go gadget, laser watch!"
A thin beam of red light moved from the watch to the doorjamb, melting the metal and plastic.
Upstairs, Johnny weaved in-between party guests. The roof had been transformed into a jungle. Tall trees and large bushes were spread across the space, exotic dancers in animal print costumes danced in cages.
"Intel," He murmured into his comms, addressing Kana. "Aboringo isn't responding. Can you contact him?"
"Chau's men must have scramblers in place. All I can tell is that he's still in the building"
"...." Johnny lifted a martini from a passing waiter's tray. "We go forward as planned."
Kana tensed. "But Joe--"
"He has his orders. Keep refreshing the comms."
"Roger..." Was Kana's reluctant reply.
Elsewhere Joe was still moving ahead with the plan. The empty room he had entered was, of all things a server room.
The adrenaline rush Joe had been on cooled down significantly. He retrieved the bug Kana had given him and reached within one of the many cables to place the bug.
Topside, Johnny was making his way towards a corner of the party.
"Dangerfield!" Kana yelled into the comms. "Joe made contact ahead of schedule! I'm connected to their network--"
"Excellent." Johnny was impressed.
"But hostiles are closing in! He needs back up, now!"
With a sigh, Johnny placed his empty glass in a random stranger's hands. "Duty calls then."
He slipped away from the crowd, slipped on a pair of gloves and moved behind a potted fern-- before leaping from the railing. With the flick of his wrist, a small hook was expended from his belt. It wrapped around the railing still attached to a thin wire that continued to uncoil from his belt.
With his tailored suit fluttering in the night air Johnny slipped on his visor. With a firm tug he brought he stopped the wire from unraveling.
"Intel confirm."
"Aboringo is 20 feet ahead!"
Meanwhile, Joe had gone from relaxed to adrenaline-addled once again. Kana's voice had come back out of nowhere.
"ENEMY UNITS CLOSING IN--"
Unfortunately, Joe had already stepped back into the hallway, and the green suits in question where only a few feet away.
"Zoinks."Joe blinked. Before Joe could pretend to be a lost hotel guest, a gun was drawn.
Joe made a dash down the hall, ignoring the distant shouts.
"STOP RIGHT THERE!" "GET BACK HERE!"
Bullets whizzed past him and Joe felt something collide with his arm. Terrified, he tried the first door.
Yanking it open he found himself in a small boardroom. As if on cue, Johnny came smashing through the window.
"Oh thank god--" Joe scrambled to him, immediately clinging to his frame. " Put that stupid thing back up and let's get out of here!"
"Must you jump into my arms at every turn?"
Joe didn't care. "Listen Lancelot, play the knight and shining armor and get us out of here!"
The two agents on Joe's tail came bursting in. Johnny hit them point-blank, one between the eyes and the other in the neck. Before Joe could say anything, Johnny simply said, "Tranquilizers."
Joe sighed. "Non-lethal force. Love to see it. Now let's get out of here!"
"Did anyone else spot you?"
"Nope! Chau's getting soft."
They headed for the now broken window. Johnny withdrew a compact grappler from the inside of his blazer.
He grabbed hold of Joe's waist this time, starling the smaller man.
"So I can't be grabby but you can be grabby?"
"I'm the knight, aren't I? " Dangerfield pulled him closer. "I'm supposed to carry damsels."
His smirk surprised Joe, leaving him silent.
WIth the grappler deployed, Jack and Joe jumped from the broken window and zipped across the line towards the streets below.
