El was unwrapping newspaper from around the glass plates, putting all of the dishes away in the kitchen. She could hear the sound of mumbled voices and boxes being set down from the other room as she worked. They had been moving into the new apartment all day. Joyce, Will and Hopper were helping the young couple bring up boxes and move the furniture in.

She gasped as she was suddenly engulfed from behind, strong arms tighten around her waist as she let out a relief breathe. She slapped mike gently on the shoulder as she let a small laugh escape her.

"Are you trying to give me a heart attack?" She strained her neck to see him from behind, smiling at him, just because he made her happy, always.

"I love you, El... so much." He snuggled his face into the crook of her neck, she could feel his growing smile against her skin. He gently kissed along her neck, down to her shoulder.

" Mike I love you too.... so so much." She smirked as she had one up him, she felt his hot breath against her shoulder as he let out a chuckle in response.

" The Kitchen looks like it's coming together, we still need to go shopping for some knives though..." he trailed off as he looked around the bare kitchen, they still had so much to do, even after they get done putting everything away.

" I know, there's so much.." she turned around in his arms, a sweat smile resting on her lips.

"My dad cried..." she whispered with a shocked look on her face, Mike's soon mirrored her own.

"Chief!?!" He said in a excited hushed tone. This was everything for Mike, all he wanted to do was taunt the old man, after years of butting heads over El, Mike and Hopper had a unique relationship. They bonded over El and her needs, but they disagreed on just about everything else, with a light heart of course. Jim loved the boy as if he were blood, but it was always fun trying to get a rise out of one another.

"I didn't tell you so you could use it for ammo, he's scared that I'm leaving Mike.. who knows what's actually going through that mans head." Her voice faded as she rested her head on Mikes chest, the sound of his heartbeat always brought her comfort, and she needed as much as she could get.

"El.." Mike mumbled in her ear, causing her to look up. Her chin resting on his chest and her big doe eyes looking back into his, he couldn't help but crack a small smile at how adorable she always seemed to be.

"Your dads going to be fine. My mom was the same this morning. Everyone knows that we're meant to be El, we love each other and our lives are only starting." He presses a soft kiss on her forehead, pulling her closer so that he could rest his chin on her head.

"Your dad knows that we're only going to end up together anyways. He's fine with this I can almost guarantee it. He's just sad that he won't be able to see your beautiful face everyday like I finally get to."

She knew he was grinning, just like she was. When she pulled away so she could see his face, his eyes were bright with happiness and his lips were cracked with warmth.

"I love you Mike, more that I will ever be able to describe." She cupped one hand on his cheek and her other in his hair, she pulled him down towards her. Their lips molded together, like they were made specifically to fit together.

"Mike why don't act like a man and not kiss my daughter with me in the room."
Hopper jabbed at Mike, crossing his arms to look more intimidating.

And before El could stop Mike from what she KNEW would come out of his mouth, it already had.

"Would acting like a man also include not blubbering like a pansy?" He smirked as he left Els embrace, also crossing his arms to intimidate Hopper.

"Son of a-" Mike hold back his vicious laughter as El tried to intervene.

"Daddy he's only kidding. Mike shut the hell up." She smacked him on the arm. His laughter only growing at Hoppers face.

Finally he calmed down, wiping tears from his eyes. Hopper had left the room, while El stood in front of mike, now with her own arms crossed.

"What did I tell you?" She sassed at him. However she wasn't doing anything but make him want to kiss her again. So he did.

He pulled her close once more, rubbing his nose against hers softly, "It was to good to pass up." He grinned as he finally brought his lips down hers, deepening the kiss after a moment. He was so ready to be alone with only her.

He pulled away, resting his head against hers, she now smiled back up at him, her eyes filled with love.

"Lets get them the hell out, shall we?"

She giggled at his choice of wording. He always seemed to make things better, brighter almost.

She pulled away, but immediately grabbing his hand, intertwining their fingers. She started walking towards the living room when she was stopped by Mike not walking with her. She turned around to see what he was doing, only to be met with a smirk. She tugged on their conjoined hands, just to have him tug back, her face falling in confusion.

He smiled sweetly at her, finally walking closer so he could bring her hand to his lips, gently laying a peck on the back of her hand.

"I love you." She could feel herself melt at his words, simple and often used between the two, it still got her.

"I'm in love, so deeply in love with you Micheal Wheeler." She gazed back into his eyes, a angelic smile falling over her.

"Come on." She finally directed, they had been long enough.
