I ignored my instinct, which was to turn Back and run until I could run no longer. I set off down the alleyway and turned the first corner, I still felt unsafe but I knew that this was my only way to get home as my parents didn't drive. I stopped in my tracks when heard a noise that sent shivers down my spine, I thought I had heard a baby laughing, but once again I ignored it and just carried on walking. It had been about 5 minutes before I heard the laughing again, but this time it sounded louder. I didn't want to believe that this was actually happening, I had just hoped that it was all a bad dream, I started to freak out. I had never been this scared in my life, I had to keep going if I wanted to get home. I started to walk again, I turned the second corner, two down one to go. I was coming to the end of the second corner but then, 'BANG'. I started running through the alleyway, I didn't care anymore I had to get away from there. I turned the third corner, but it was the wrong one, I came to a dead end. A mysterious hooded figure turned the corner and blocked me in, I couldn't escape, I closed my eyes and started to cry. The figure came closer, and spoke to me" I can help you escape."he said in a deep voice. " You can?"I asked, not sure wether to take his help or just try and find my own way out, he nodded. I turned to him and said " I will accept your offer." We were about to leave when he said that there was a price to pay, he said that I had to give him all of my money that I had, or he would take me back into the alleyway and I would stay there until someone came and found me. I took the easy option and gave him my money, he let me go. I was at the entrance to the small village, it was quiet, too quiet. What had happened?!
