Thia's POV

"You can't be Robin Hood, he's a myth." Shaking my head I tried to stand up but my efforts resulted in a brutal collapse back onto the ground.

"Really? That's a bit ironic isn't it? Anyways, I''m not a myth. I am very well alive. Have been for a long time. Sort of like the female counter parts of my merry men, your hunters I suppose," he explained, scratching at the slight scruff of red hair on his chin. "We intersect in Europe sometimes. Only difference is around here you have families, which reminds me, have you seen Olivia little lass?"

His attentions shifted to Leah who had attempted to help me but I'd brushed her gestures away.

"Yeah I think she was busy helping out Killian." Leah explained. Robin Hood smiled.

"Ah good. Well, you lay low little lady until your strength is back. Then we're escorting you back home where we'll meet with the other divisions. The threat has been growing. Containment has been disbanded. We'll be recollecting at your camp," he explained, before giving a small bow and walking off.

It was a lot to process so I sat quietly with my legs tucked up to my chest with my chin resting on my knees. Leah made no move to leave and an awkward silence overcame us.

"So, you came back." My voice was quiet but she picked up on my words.

"Yeah." Was the reply. More silence.

"How was it? You know, hanging out with them? Robin Hood and all?" I couldn't keep the pain from settling in my stomach. I hadn't despised her when she'd left originally but now, it was hard to ignore how much of a slap to the face it had been.

"Fun. They're exciting and interesting. His daughter Olivia is very spunky, I like her," Leah smiled and shrugged.

"Cool." Closing my eyes I listened to the sound of my own breathing. My thoughts seemed to be slow and I could feel an impossible weakness in my body. It was overwhelming. The chill in the air did little to help soothe me.

"You okay?" Leah asked hesitantly. It seemed like a stupid question and I wanted to laugh.

"My whole life just got turned on its head so no. I'm starting to think that maybe starving to death wouldn't have been so bad." My words were harsh and her expression morphed into surprise.

"What do mean?"

"I mean that from the day I was made I was destined to do this. Host Order's flickering life force and somehow restore balance. She purposefully ordered Prometheus not to give me powers and to make sure I was born without fear." I grumbled, watching Leah's expression soften. "Apparently, I was supposed to be humbled by this. It would make me understand the world better but honestly I think I just hate everything now."

"Don't say that," Leah sighed, crossing her legs and moving to sit in front of me.

"You don't understand anything I'm feeling right now." My nose and eyes stung both from the cold and emotion. "I'm just some weapon that was made to be used. What's worse, my parents don't even know about it."

"I know it's not fair, and I'm sorry. I had no idea about any of this but you're not just a weapon," Leah shook her head. "You're still Thia, the one Andy and I knew. "

"In all honesty Leah I'm not sure why you're bothering with me at the moment." She startled slightly at my words.

"How can you say that?" Her brows furrowed together in both worry and confusion.

"Shouldn't you be frolicking with these merry men and that Olivia girl?" Her eyes sparked slightly in an offended manner.

"I came back for you because I knew what I did was wrong. I just happened to bump into them." Her tone had grown defensive and slightly hostile.
