PREDESTINED SETBACK

When the sun shines at the broad daylight
Everybody struggles in their own fight
And yet, I am here
Pondering and waiting under the biggest the tree

As I see everyone smiling and laughing
I am here frowning.
I ask myself, "Am I not worthy of smiling?"
And here I realized, I am all alone

As the dark replaced the light
I saw two people stay side by side
Sitting in a comfortable silence
Like how their unknown abides

Looking back at the sky once again
The moon shines so brightly
I am mesmerized how it looked like a fantasy
With every pounce I have, I'll try my luck to bargain

Then a sudden realization hit me
The moon in the sky is all alone
Like how I am alone under this big tree
Pondering and waiting

Waiting for you to come back like how the moon waits for the stars to shine
