Lies & Betrayal

Recap:"Mahiru. Do you ever get the feeling that the whole world was just made 5 minutes ago? What if I told you that I was only your friend for 5 minutes? What if I told you that all of your memories that are about us were all a lie?" Then all of a sudden we were all tied up in strings. "I'mmmm baack! I am the duke of skewering the amazing Belkia! Oh and I see that you two girls brought another merderous friend!" Belkeia says. What if I told you that I too am a vampire?" Sakuya finishes off. "Mahiru. Your friend is one of Tsubaki's subclasses." Says Kuro. 'Well... We're screwed.' I say in my head

"Mahiru we're friends right? That means you wouldn't lie to me right? Their's something I need to know. How much of our friendship was a lie? Or was our entire friendship a sham?" He asks. " Mahiru I warned you didn't I? That their were vampires around here?" I see that Mahiru had a shocked expression on his face. " I told you so, so, so, many times to be careful!" Sakuya shouts. " Mahiru you have memories from the past. But what if those were fake memories that were recently planted in your brain?" "Saky. What are you talking about?" Cero asks. "What if I've only been your best friend for 5 minutes? Can you prove something like that is impossible? Can you prove anything existed more than five minutes ago? What did I say when your mom died? Was I... Even their?" 
He then pulls out three knives. "Just how many of our memories our lies my friend?" Sakuya then runs over to Mahiru getting ready to slash him. Then in a blink of an eye Kuro gets slashed instead. "No Kuro!" Mahiru and Jace say in unison. Then Belkia stabs him with both of his swords. "Kuro no! Why would you do that you pink haired bastard!" I yell clearly pissed off.
 
 "You're making it up! You're not actually a vampire right?" Mahiru says. "Oh you love it if that were a lie wouldn't you? If vampires weren't real & I wasn't one of them you can chop this up as some kind of trick. Humans always want to hear the lie that's most convenient to them. Vampires take advantage of that and use it to hypnotize humans. You were easy to fool. You wanted to connect with someone so badly. Mahiru why did you have to get involved? If you hadn't picked up that cat, if you hadn't lied to me and said it was normal I would still be standing by your side. We've could have woken tomorrow still best friends. Things could have kept going on like the way they were. Why does the world fall apart so often? It's not fair." "I didn't mean to lie. I just didn't want my friends to get wrapped up with vampires. I wanted to keep you safe to protect all of you guys!" "Shut up! You're still lying to me which means you really don't trust me. If I was actually your best friend then you would have told me no matter what! Don't you dare say that you were lying to keep me safe!" Sakuya shouts. "I was!" Mahiru says back. Sakuya then walks over to a broken mirror. "You know. I hate liars more than anything. Once someone lies to you loose all trust. You can't believe a word they say ever again. Do you know how this feels? It's like my entire body's been torn apart. That's what happens when your best friend lies to your face. And that's not all. I knew the words coming out of your mouth were lies. But I just stood their pretending it was ok. I didn't say anything which means you made a liar out of me too Mahiru!" Sakuya yells as he scratches the mirror"

Cero's pov
Just hearing Sakuya's words almost make me want to cry. Ever scene we've got here I've told (y/n) and Jace that I wanted to go back. But he's right too. Friends keep secretes from each other. Mahiru kept a secrete of knowing about vampires from Sakuya. I wonder what secrete Jace & (y/n) have been keeping from me?

(Y/n) POV

Just hearing those screeches from the mirror were ear piercing. If I wasn't tied up then I wold cut that curl off his head to make him shut up. "Sakuya wait." I hear a feminine voice. I look to my right only to find out that Cero opened her mouth. "Have I lied to you before?" She asks. "Well no, you haven't." " Then you trust me right? Just untie me and we can be together ok? I love you." Sakuya raises his left hand and Cero is gently sat down on the ground standing up. "Cero. If you truly love me then you truly trust me right?" He asks. "Yes of corse." "Then if you trust me..." He then extends his right arm. "Join us. We can be together for eternity." He says. "Cero think about what your doing." Jace tells her. "Yes Cero. Do you want to stay here? Or do you want to go back home?" He asks. "I miss my home. But more importantly I miss my family." She then takes Sakuya's hand. "I'll go with you." She finally says.
