Jace's Pov (also that same night)
I watch as (y/n) runs into the darkness with Cero's necklace crying. I start to run after her but get stopped by someone's hand on my shoulder. I look up and see that Kuro stopped me. "I'll talk to her" he says. I look back at the direction that she ran to and looked back him. I gave him a nod that it was ok for him to go.
"He's hurt. And it's my fault." Mahiru says. I go over to him and put a hand on his shoulder. "Mahiru. He was only trying to protect us. Even I would do the same" I say to him. "She's right. A person should take full responsibility on their own actions. No matter what. I'm sure Misono knew what he was getting into when he chose to get involved." I turn around and see Envy and Mikuni. "Nice to meet you guys. Beside me is the Servamp of envy. His names Doubt Doubt. You might have guessed I'm his eve. Of corse Jace here already knows that. I call out to him. Mikuni turns and looks at me. "I'd keep my promises if I were you. Otherwise you may get hurt." I say.
I go back to Mahiru and stand next to him. "You're worried about him aren't you?" I ask. "Yeah. It's going to take a miracle to make sure he's ok." He says. "Yeah a miracle. Wait that's it!
