The mood on the island was peaceful today, despite the events that were happening soon. After all the time spent planning and making sure everything was perfect, today was finally the day that Trey and Kelly joined together in marriage.
Many people were on the island in attendance for this special day. Friends, family, and any other celebrity that was lucky enough to get an invitation. If you were to go on social media right now, this is what everyone would be talking about. Too bad they're gonna have to wait a while to see any pictures or videos.
While the guests were starting to arrive, the wedding party were in their respective cabins prepping for the ceremony. All the women were in one cabin, while the men were in another. The men were basically chilling because well...they're men so they really don't have to do much. The women however, were doing so many different things at once. As Kelly's bridesmaids (Lala, Solange, and Michelle) and matron of honor (Beyoncé) were scrambling around getting ready, Kelly was trying to find a peace of mind while getting her hair and makeup done.
"You have a visitor, love." Kelly's makeup artist said. Kelly's back was facing the door so she couldn't see who it was at first. She turned her chair and smiled when she saw her mother standing there.
"Look at my baby." she said excitedly as she went to hug Kelly. "You look beautiful already."
"Aww, thank you mama."
"We'll give you mother-daughter time." the makeup artist said, and she left along with the hairdresser.
"How you feeling?" Mama Doris asked, sitting down.
"I can't even describe it in words." Kelly replied honestly.
"Sing it then." Mama Doris joked, causing Kelly to laugh. "I'm playing. But you're not nervous are you?"
"A little bit...I don't know how to explain it. I'm not nervous at all to marry Trey, I actually can't wait to finally be his wife. I'm more so nervous about the ceremony itself. I feel like something is gonna go wrong."
"Nothing will go wrong honey. We all spent a lot of time to make sure this day is perfect for you."
"I know. Everything seems fine. I don't know why I'm so anxious."
"Maybe because that bitch is attending." Mama Doris mumbled, referring to Trey's mother. When Kelly finally told Doris about what Mama April did, she was livid. She would've literally fought Mama April if Kelly hadn't stopped her. Ever since the whole situation, Kelly and Trey have been slowly working their way towards forgiveness. It hasn't been easy, but they thought it would be best to at least be cordial with her. It was Trey's idea to invite her to the wedding since his brothers were groomsmen and after all, that is his mother.
