music had him lead
and although the sore heart would bleed
the dance covered the hidden greed
hoped for a equitable meed

people passing by, not leaving a glance
he watched them ignore, didn't see a chance
they refused to see his empty hands
when he silently prepared for his last dance

he would stunn them with the core
passion spreading more and more
women, men, neither nor
could hear his silent cry, so sore

with shut eyes, he didn't try less
his dance was for the girl in the dress
stood there so unexpectedly, able to confess
the unbelievable beauty in his mess

she was different or even beyond
her smile glistened incredibly fond
never felt such honest bond
between him and the girl in blonde

and when a minor chord resounded at last
her mind was trailing in her past
her dreamful smile it vanished fast
she still stood there, her stare would last

his loneliness made her understand
his moves were honest he didn't pretend
stepped closer to the little bowl to bend
a little coin tingled in neverland
