The group ran to Elvira's house. But when they got there, Daisy wasn't there. The group told Daisy's family what happened.
"Daisy is gone?" Jesus asked, worried.
"She disappeared when we fled the library," Elena said.
"She could be anywhere," Magda frowned. "Now that the kingdom looks different than when we left, she barely recognizes it."
"We'd better split into teams to find her," Hugo claimed. "Since Sofia and I are the only Protectors of the Ever Realm, we'll have to be on each team."
"But what if we need more than two Protectors?" Amber asked.
"We'll contact our trainers," Sofia said.
Sofia and Hugo used their Enchantlets to contact their Protector Trainers, Chrysta and Cody.
"What's up, kids?" Cody asked.
"We have bad news: an earthquake struck Avalor, and our friend Daisy disappeared," Sofia said.
"It's going to be a tough job," Hugo chimed in.
"We'll be there," Chrysta claimed.
Later, when Chrysta and Cody got to Avalor, Francisco, Luisa, Naomi, Esteban, Gabe, Mateo, and the kings and queens came to help track down Daisy.
"Since there are four Protectors, we'll split into four teams, one Protector on each one," Hugo explained.
"Once one team finds Daisy, the Protector will contact the others to report it," Sofia joined in.
Everyone agreed to follow the plan, so the teams split up and scoured the city.
Hugo was with Magda, Elvira, Elena, Yvette, and Garrick. It wasn't going to be easy to find Daisy in all this mess.
"Do you think you can use your WhichWay Bow to find her, champ—if you even have one?" Garrick asked.
"Sorry, Dad, but my bow doesn't have a string," Hugo frowned. He flicked his wrist, and a stringless bow appeared. "Sofia says I have to get mine from the Mare of the Mist, and she comes out one day a year—and it's only been a few months since Sofia got her string."
Suddenly, Skylar, Migs, Luna, Dulce, Estrella, Zoom, and Mingo came along.
"Is everyone okay?" Dulce asked.
"We're okay, but my daughter is missing—she's all alone in this messy city," Magda said.
"And my WhichWay Bow is useless, so we can't use it to track her down," Hugo said. "The other three Protectors are looking for her, too."
"Maybe we can help," Migs offered. "We'll give you a ride, so you can find her from above, but some of us will have to double up."
"Thank you," Garrick smiled.
Hugo and Garrick got on Migs. Magda and Elvira got on Dulce. Elena got on Skylar, and Yvette got on Luna. The jaquins flew up to find Daisy.
