Lizzy Finds Out

((Ruby's POV))

"So. Ask away." I said. "Where did you come from? Why were you running?" He asked. I sighed. "I came from my home. I was afraid they would catch me and that's why I was running. Im glad you got me before they did. They used to abuse me." I answered truthfully. Ciel stared at me. He looked.....angry. Sebastian came up into the room. "Young master, Miss Elizabeth has arrived. Would you like her sent up here?" He asked Ciel. "Yes. I'm a bit afraid for Ruby's life. I would like to stay with her." Sebastian nodded and walked away. "Who's Elizabeth?" I asked. Ciel sighed "My fiancé." He said. "Ciel...how am I supposed to hide my wings?" I asked. He simply replied, "You don't." A young girl ran into the room. She was pretty. She had on a pink dress and bonnet with blonde hair in two curly pigtails. She had emerald green eyes and a cute face for a little girl. She didn't even care about me. She threw herself at Ciel yelling "CIIIEELLLL!!!!" In a high voice. I winced. Ciel hugged Lizzy. "Elizabeth, you must be quiet." She looked upset but saw me at that point. "Ciel who is this?" She asked in a hard voice probably jealous of me staying here and possibly thinking I would take Ciel from her. "This is my friend Ruby. She ran from her family after they abused her and we found her in the forest. She recently got injured from protecting me. Her wings got cut and a couple feathers pulled off. She also has many bruises and lost quite a bit of blood." Ciel said. Lizzy looked at me shocked. "You did that for Ciel?" She asked. I nodded weakly barely being able to at all. "I watched over her last night. I didn't think she would survive. I'm glad to see she regained some colour." Ciel said. Lizzy looked at him like he was crazy. "What colour?? She's very pale." I looked at Lizzy. "I've always been a bit unusually pale. I suppose I got worse." I said. "Elizabeth....what do you think of my wings?" I asked. "They are beautiful." Lizzy said. "I think this is the only time I have seen that beautiful black colour." She said. I nodded. "Thank you. You guys can go." I smiled and winked. "Spend some time together. I'll be fine." Ciel mouthed, "I'll be back when she's gone." and "Why did you do this to me?" I laughed. I mouthed "Because I love you that's why." jokingly.

((Ciel's POV))

I knew Ruby was joking, but my heart started racing when she said that. 'Get a hold of yourself Ciel!' I thought as I led Lizzy downstairs. "So Elizabeth, how long are you staying?" I asked her quietly. She frowned. "Ciel, call me Lizzy!! And besides, I have to go now actually. I just popped in to see you." She yelled before pulling me into a bone crushing hug. I gasped for air when she pulled away. "Alright...Goodbye.." I said once I caught my breath. I escorted Elizabeth out to her carriage and ran upstairs when she was no longer in sight. "Ruby! I did not want to be alone with Elizabeth!!" I yelled, instantly regretting it when I saw her wince. "Why not? Don't you love her?" Ruby spoke softy. I clasped my hand in my lap, turning my head down to stare at them. After a long moment of silence, I sighed and hesitantly looked up. "No."
