<pre style="line-height: 17px; white-space: normal; color: #2a2a2a; font-size: 13px;">"Get him out of here. Get me to the limo and to the hotel, please." I mumbled quietly. He only wants to see me because I'm famous. I stormed away from Cece and over to the bandmates.
"Little Red! What's wrong? Look like you saw a ghost," Tyler commented.
"Nothing. Nothing's wrong," I hated lying to my friends. They're like my family. Josh shot Tyler a look.
"Upset your mom couldn't be here?" Danny said winking. I knew he was covering for me. I nodded and he hugged me. The rest of the boys put on their best sympathy faces. "Its okay, she'll be watching you tomorrow." Cece walked up then, and grabbed my shoulder.
"Trin, he really wants to see you," she murmured.
"Tell him to piss off," I spat back.
"Oh Trinity..." Cece trailed off. Cece and my mom had been best friends long before I had even come close to even needing a manager for anything. She knew my life and my mother's life inside and out. "I'll tell him to leave.." she whispered.
"Thank you," I choked out, a tear falling down my cheek.
"You have to face him eventually you know," she said smirking, and wiped my single tear.
"I know... I'll cross that bridge only when I have to." Cece nodded and walked towards security. She shook her head "no" and I imagined the security guards telling my Da-Mr. Taylor- to leave. I imagined him leaving without a fight, because I knew he didn't care. He was probably here to tell me his most recent wife was pregnant, or that she kicked him out and he needed money to pay off this bill and that one.
I couldn't tell my mom about this.
She'd probably freak out if she knew he attempted to see me.
Nick caught up to me as I was walking to the limo.
"Cece told us not to ask. I guess Tyler didn't get the memo, sorry." he mumbled.
"It's fine.. What else did-did Cece tell you?" I asked.
"Nothing. She just said you were really upset and even though you're close to us it's not our place to ask," he said and I thanked Cece in my head.
"Oh, well. Thanks."
"No problem," he said and our hands touched, by accident?
I don't know but I do know it sent electricity through my body.
And I knew I had to shut it down.
Because making music with the boys was in the contract.
But making love with them wasn't.</pre>
