With the team back on the road to regionals, it was time for TNS to choose their dance captain. Noah wanted to defend his title, but Richelle was desperate for some good luck this season. Emily and Michelle walked into studio 1. "Okay so as the new season has begun, we need our dance captain!" Emily had a beaming smile on her face. The whole team were so nervous.
"This person is so dedicated to this team and to their dancing. She came to save The Next Step right when we needed her, despite a devastating injury last season." Richelle looked shocked, but delighted. "She really does what is best for our team, it is with great pleasure that I now can reveal our dance captain is Richelle!" "Oh my gosh! Thank you so much Emily! I will not let you down!" The team were so happy for her.
Richelle had finally realised, this year would be her year. She was so thankful that she was one again, dance captain. Not of TNS East, but of The Next Step.
