Nao, my cher ami, my dear ami, my dear friend. She, Nao, brave, kind, wise,a bit of an old soul, intelligent, and the greatest friend I could ask for. Nao having been with me through thick and thin. Of course, we have had our fights, but, in her words, " I have never had a 'friend' who was so affected by my absence of friendship . . . you are the first person to ask to be friends, let alone again, I always had to ask for company. You asked me, you were so casual about it, but I could tell you saw I was lonely. I was so used to short-term friendships, that I . . . I don't know, I just, sort-of got used to it. So many things about our friendship were firsts, whereby I was even new to forgiveness . . . Thanks . . . very much thanks . . . Thank you so much. You were understanding, when I talked about my problems, you listed, you didn't interrupt with ignorant advice. When I asked for advice, you asked first for the whole story. Little things-as they call them-They pile up."

I remember the day we became friends; the day we overcame the world as we like to refer too.  It was in 5th grade, I had my own little group of friends. I had seen Nao, she was listening to a song, which I was later informed was Skeleton Orchestra and Lilia,  sung by Hatsune Miku. She was sitting on a brick wall with astounding posture. Her hair was deep brown, tied back into a long ponytail, her bangs covered her right eye. She was wearing a deep red hoodie, on the back it said FUKASE, OBEY.  She had a lot of anime and vocaloid pins on her denim bag, I was unable to identify these at the time tough. I, later that month had a huge fight with my friends. I was alone for the first time. I knew Nao was alone, but now I was too. Instead of feeling bad for my self, I felt worry. She had been alone, and I didn't do anything. I decided the best thing to do would be to befriend her. Welp, thats what happened.

She introduced me to anime, and we spent most of our time watching it or talking about it. We borrowed each others manga, we went to the magical mirai 2017 concert together, and we even made fan art. She was a lot better than me at drawing tough. We do everything together. We went to our first convention together, it was wisabicon, in Florida. We went as America(me) and England (Nao).

It's hard to believe she was never bullied for he interests, actually, I take that back. With her personality, it's no wonder. She had always been . . . intimidating . . . She was too big a risk to bully. Always wearing hoodies and masks, at least she wore the mask because of allergies.
