Ouran High School changes.

Chapter 8

Satomi's POV

Satanna and I were packing to spend our first weekend apart. When I told Satanna about the whole idea, she was confused, but she still went along with it.

"Explain to me why we're doing this." Satanna said

"To make our bond stronger." I said.

"If you say so."

When Satanna got dropped off at Haruhi's she started to complain on how she didn't want to spend the whole weekend with Hikaru, but she still went along with the plan. 

When I got to Renge's, I met Kaoru there. "Hey Satomi." He greeted. "Hey." I greeted back. Renge showed uds to our room. "You  guys will be staying in here." She said. She held out her hand. "In order for this plan to work I will be needing your phones. You said no communication whatsoever, so I'm following what you said." Kaoru and I handed her our phones without and ifs  or buts. Kaoru soon walked out of the room. I didn't bother asking him where he was going.

Kaoru's POV

I went to go find the bathroom and once I came back I heard the most beautiful voice.

🎶I used to look into my father's eyes🎶

🎶In a happy home🎶

🎶I was the king, I had a golden throne🎶

🎶 Those days are gone🎶

🎶Now the memories on the wall🎶

🎶I  hear this song from the places that I was born.🎶

🎶Upon the hill across the blue lake🎶

🎶That's where I had my first heartbreak🎶

🎶I still remember how it all changed🎶

🎶My father said.🎶

🎶Dont you worry , don't you worry child.🎶

🎶See heaven's got a plan for you🎶

🎶Dont you worry Don't you worry now🎶

I walked in to see that the beautiful voice was coming from Satomi. She turned around to see me in the doorway. "You heard all of that?" Satomi asked.

"Yeah, that was amazing!"

"I wouldn't say that."

"Do you hear girls sing like that everyday?"

"No"

"Okay then."

We stayed silent for a while. "That was about you dad...the song. Wasn't it?" I said breaking the silence,"Last time I checked it's been 3 years since your dad died, right?"

"Yeah" Satomi responded, "Me and Satanna's dad died when we were 12, we're 15 about to be 16. Lucky you, your dad is still alive and you and Hikaru are already 16."

"Your father was a good man."

"Thanks. Satanna and I are constantly told to get used to the fact that our father's dead. We never listen because we're used to the fact that we wake up to see that our dad isn't there, but we'll never get used to the fact that our dad is dead."

"That's true."

"Kaoru"

"Yeah"

"Do you think....That I should get used to my dad being dead?" 

I grabbed Satomi's arm. "You should NEVER get used to something like that, Satomi.! NEVER!" I exclaimed,"Satomi, you haven't truly creid since he died, so cry."

"Kaoru, I'm fine."

"Cry"

"I'm fine"

"Cry"

"Kaoru, I'm..I" Next thing you know it, Satomi starts crying. I walked up to Satomi and comforted her with a hug. I've never been this close to a girl like this. Something tells me that this gonna be a long weekend.
