Rachel POV
When I was finally got to school, I missed Math class. All my friends asked what I forgotten,but Maya didn't believe me when I said quickly .
"Rachel: I um ... forget my math homework."
I couldn't bare to look Maya in the eye,as I lied. Maya was looking at me like I was crazy. I quickly went to my next class, Maya right behind me.
"Maya: Rachel were you really getting your math homework? You never forget anything."
"Rachel: Yeah...I forgot my math homework,can't a girl just forget something without any follow up question, Maya."
"Maya: Yeah... are you okay?"
"Rachel: Oh,look we're here. Go History!"
After School.
All I have to do is to find Ira, I thought as Maya and I walked home. I wasn't aware that Maya was looking at me as I looked for my winged ear friend.
"Maya:Rachel are you okay . In class you seem...um... what's the word...distracted."
"Rachel: I'm not distracted I have a lot on my mind today."
"Maya: I'm all ears . Rachel I'm here for you. You can tell me anything you,know that right?"
"Rachel: I know Maya but ...."
Then I saw him ... I think he looks different.I stopped and stared like a crazy person. "Maya : But what ..."
Maya stopped turning her head trying to find what I was looking at.
"Rachel: Maya I have to pick up a
friend today."
Then out of nowhere Regina popped up. "Regina: Maya can you help me with my science homework. Thanks!"
Before Maya can say anything Regina pulled her away in a dash. I looked and smiled as I walked to Ira.
