I sat quietly in my cell. It had been hours since I had sent out my signal. I hadn't seen Knockout, so I wasn't sure if they signal really sent. All I could really do was hope now.

My side and face still hurt from earlier, but it was more of a numb pain now. The only real thing I could do to keep my sanity was to hum to myself. I must have gone through almost a hundred human songs, along with a few Cybertronian songs. At least I was occupied...

I jumped in surprise when I heard blasters going off and metal scraping against metal. I couldn't help but grin at the sounds as I leaned my helm against the wall.

I knew they'd come.

It wasn't long before my cell door opened. I turned to look at the new arrival, expecting to see one of my teammates, but I froze at the site. Starscream was standing there, an angry look on his face. I felt the Energon in my frame go cold at the site of him.

"You," he growled. His arm suddenly changed into a blaster and he shot at me. I cried out when it hit my shoulder. "You called them!"

"What are you talking about?" I shouted, moving to avoid being blasted again.

"Don't play dumb with me, Autobot. I know you somehow managed to call your team. I don't know how you did, but I will make sure that when they do find you, you are nothing but a pile of scrap with an extinguished spark."

I ducked again as Starscream repeatedly shot at me. Every now and then, his blasts would skim my frame, leaving a burning sensation. He eventually hit me in the leg, knocking me to the ground. I winced in pain as I grabbed my leg. Glancing up, I saw Starscream walking towards me. I tried moving away from him but he got to me before I could get far enough. He put his pede on my injured leg, causing me to cry out in pain.

"This is where you end, (y/n)," he growled.

With a quick movement, he swiped at me. I screamed as his servos ripped through my stomach.

I looked down at the fresh wound, my optics already starting to go offline. Energon was pouring out of the cuts and onto the floor. I inhaled shakily and looked up at Starscream. The 'Con smirked evilly at me.

"So long, Autobot," he said.

As he raised his arm, I shut my optics, waiting for the blow that would extinguish my spark. But it never came. Instead I heard metal crash against metal.

Glancing up, I gasped in surprise to see Arcee beating the scrap out of Starscream. I could faintly see Bulkhead and Bumblebee at the door, ready to fend off any 'Cons. The sound of large pedes caught my attention and caused me to look in their direction. Optimus kneeled beside me, moving to carefully pick me up.

"Do not worry, (y/n)," the Autobot said. "We will get you out of here."

"About time you got here, Prime," I said weakly, using my remaining strength to muster a smirk. "Thanks for coming." I could feel my energy draining as my vision disappeared more. Optimus picked me up, holding me gently. "Listen, Prime. I'll see you... when I wake up... Don't worry... about me... I'll be... fine..."

As the last word fell from my lips, my optics shut down, dragging me into darkness.
