"Ash, you're late! Get on the drums!" Louis says. "No girlfriends, I told you no girlfriends in here!" Liam says. Harry gives me a death glare. "What girlfriend? I'm here alone." I tell Liam. "Who's that, then?" He asks, pointing at the girl standing by the doorway. It's that girl from the hallway that I ran into, Diana. "She better not be his girlfriend." Harry says in a threatening tone. "She's not! Harry, she's not." I try to convince him. Diana goes to the couch we have in here and sits down. "I'm super confused. Why is she here, then?" I ask. "She's my sister. Why else would she be?" Harry says. "I don't know, if she was your girlfriend?" I say. You know that face people make when they eat a lemon? Harry, Diana, and Louis made that face. Oh, right! I forgot that Harry and Louis are an item. Anyway, after a little while we practice all of our songs that need work and start writing a few as well.

The rest of the day goes on as usual, but today I notice Diana in most of my classes. I can't help but look at her, stare even. There's something about her. I catch her looking at me a few times, but not nearly as much as I look at her. She has this set of facial expressions. Everyone has a set of facial expressions, but hers is the best. She gets this sly smirk all the time and when she's really focused her face scrunches up.

At lunch I see her sitting alone in the ocean of teenagers. She's slumped down in her chair, her elbow is on the table and she rests her cheek on her hand. She looks kind of sad. Where the band is sitting has a good view of her table, but I decide to sit with her anyway. "What's up?" I ask her. I spin a chair around and plop down with my legs splayed on either side of the chair. "Nothing." She says and takes a bite from her slice of pizza. "Let me rephrase that; what's wrong?" I ask her. She tilts her head up and looks up at me with a sad smirk. "This place is just so high school, you know? The jocks, nerds, cheerleaders, hipsters, artists, punks, singers, and even the teachers. Everyone has a clique they sit with and hang out with, but I'm just here. No clique or friends, nothing." She says and slumps back down. "You can always sit with the guys and me." I offer her. "I'll be just as invisible there." She says and sighs. "No you won't." I tell her. I grab her hand and our lunches and lead her towards the table where I usually sit with Luke, Calum, Michael, Niall, Liam, Zayn, Louis, and Harry. I make her sit and eat and from the second she gets there she blends in, not like a wallflower, but like she belongs. She gets included in conversation and even starts some.
