You hear footsteps on the stairs.

Who could that be?.

You see that it is five in the morning.

When you open your door, you see your mom.

“Look who finally came home.”

She turns around with a tired face.

“Sorry. I didn’t wanted to wake you up.”

“Don’t act like you care about that. Or about me.”

“What are you talking about Ally?”

“What do you think?”

“Please tell me.”

“You forgot me.”

“I would never forget you.”

“Never mind.”

You close the door and get dressed.

When you’re done, you climb out of the window.

It’s not that high.

You hear your door open and you hide behind a tree.

Your mom looks around and then you see Justin behind her.

They are talking and your mom starts crying.

It’s her own fault, you think.

When they both have their back to you, you rush away.

You reach the park and take a seat in the shadows.

“Ally.”

You look up and see it is Collin standing in front of u.

You wipe your tears away and hope he didn’t notice them.

“Hey.”

“Why are you crying?”

“Because I can.”

“Did that piece of crab hurt you again?”

“Who cares anyways.”

“I do.”

You look at him.

“Yeah right. Since when?”

“a long time, but I was always afraid you wouldn’t like me.”

“That’s why you always bullied me and kicked me.”

“I am sorry for that. I hope I can fix that.”

His eyes are dark because of the shadow.

“No. You can leave me alone.”

“Ally. Don’t do this.”

“What am I doing now wrong? Huh.”

You stand up with your hands in the air.

“We all know you cut yourself.”

“That is not true.”

“Than what are these marks on your arm?”

“My cat did that when we played.”

“You are allergic for cats, remember.”

You look down and know he is right.

“Ally it’s time for you to let people in.”

“I already did that.”

“You mean Justin?”
