Christmas was coming very soon. Anastasia was wanting to get Prince Alex and the Wilsons something, but she has not thought of what to get them. Anastasia wanted to get her father and sisters something. Prince Alex got a Christmas tree and put the lights up. The tree already has presents under it. Prince Alex was planning on throwing a Christmas party. Anastasia's father was invited. It was ten days until Christmas. Anastasia loved Christmas because her family always did something fun for Christmas. Anastasia did miss her sisters, but she knew that she could not invite them to the Christmas party. Anastasia did not want her sisters to know where she is.

Nicholas could not do very much about finding Anastasia because Christmas was coming soon. Also, the weather has been bad. It has been snowing badly. Nicholas decides to postpone his search for Anastasia until spring. Nicholas was hoping that Anastasia would come back before spring. Nicholas still studies the history of the castle and the map to the woods. Larry told Nicholas he was buying an RV camper. Larry told Nicholas he could use it when he started looking for Anastasia.

Martin got the painting that Anastasia sends him. Martin was happy because the money he got from the painting was able to help him pay the bank and some other bills. Lisa was helping a lot too. They were caught up with the bills. Martin even has enough money to buy Christmas gifts. Martin was going to cut down a Christmas tree. Anastasia told Martin he was invited to a Christmas party that Prince Alex was throwing. Anastasia did tell Martin her sisters could not go because she did not want them to know where she is. Martin understood and did not tell his daughters about the party.

Anastasia got a message from her father thanking her for the painting. Anastasia was glad the money her father got from the painting help him. Anastasia was sure that her sisters were happy. Anastasia knew that Lisa was helping. Lisa was hardworking and she always helps their father with the bills too. Anastasia was painting some paintings so she can keep helping her father with bills.

Prince Alex allows Anastasia to go shopping for Christmas gifts. Anastasia got Christmas gifts for everyone. The only sister that ever got her a gift was Lisa. The other sisters did not have a job. Anastasia stop for some coffee. Anastasia did not shop in her hometown because she did not want to run into anyone that she knows especially Nicholas. Anastasia shops in a different town. Anastasia got done with her shopping and went home. When she got home dinner was ready so she put her gift up to wrap later. Jack was looking forward to Christmas because his mom always made her cheesecake. Anastasia knew how to make cheesecake. Anastasia also knew how to make chicken and dressing.

Anastasia's dad made the best chicken and dressing. Anastasia's dad taught her how to make chicken and dressing. The party was going to be great. The only people that were coming to the party were the Wilsons, Martin, and Prince Alex's father George. Prince Alex did not want anyone to see him. Anastasia was tired from working so she went to bed. The next day Anastasia went to finish her Christmas shopping. Anastasia saw a painting of a king, queen, and their children. The queen looks beautiful.

"Do you like the painting?" - Anastasia heard a woman say. Anastasia turned around and saw the woman.

"My name was Jackie York." - the woman replied.

"Were the people in the painting real?" - Anastasia asked Jackie.

"Yes, they are. They were murder by a man named Loki, There was only one survivor. The king and queen's daughter Mary was the only one that survives." - Jackie told Anastasia.

"Where was Mary?" - Anastasia asked.

"No one knows." - Jackie said.

When Anastasia got home, she told Prince Alex about the family that was killed. She also told him about the lost princess.

"I know about the family. Princess Mary was the youngest. She was a baby when the family was killed." - Prince Alex told Anastasia.

"No one knows where princess Mary is?" - Anastasia asked Prince Alex.

"No one knows." - Prince Alex told Anastasia.

"Why were the royal family killed?" - Anastasia asked Prince Alex.

"No one knows." - Prince Alex said.

After finishing talking to Prince Alex, Anastasia went to her room and read her book.
