BEEP BEEP BEEP!

Your alarm was ringing louder than it ever had before, like today was important or something. You grabbed your phone and strained your eyes to see what time you had set it to. 7 in the morning, why was it set to now? Your thumb traveled over to the snooze button, but as you we're about to press down your thumb, you read what was above it.

SCHOOL!!

What? Wait... OH MY GOD ITS MY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

You sprung up from your bed sitting up right and threw you slippers onto your feet. You rushed to your bathroom and washed you face quickly. I'll moisturise later, you thought to yourself. You rushed down your stairs, careful not to slip. You ran into the kitchen and sat down at the bench waiting for breakfast.

"Wow, you were down here fast"  Said your Mum, in a surprised tone.

"I'm excited, it's my first day of year seven! Probably the most important year of my life!" You explained.

"Well you should enjoy it, these next six years are going to fly right past, and soon you'll have moved out, had your own place, be able to drive, have a boyfriend,"

"MUM!" You shouted, cutting her off.

"Okay, okay. But make sure to be quick with who you get as a bae or all the good ones with be gone"

"Please never say bae again" you replied.

As your mum handed you a plate full of bacon, pancakes and eggs, your mouth watered.

"Don't eat too quick" Said your Mum.

Not really following your mums orders you scoffed down your breakfast buffet and scurried upstairs to look your best. First, you brushed your teeth, and made sure your breath smelled like some thing other than bacon. Next you put you hair into a messy but kinda neat bun. Finally, you put on your new outfit that you chose out just for today.

A grey long sleeved top, with long jeans. Brown boots, a light blue long cardigan, and finally a cream scarf.

You looked into your mirror and felt proud, but wondered what you were gonna wear tomorrow.

As your mum called you down stairs you grabbed your black bag from the side of your door and rushed down to the door.

"Bye!" You shouted, as you rushed outside to drab your bike and go. You hopped onto your bike and started to roll down the street. As your school came into view, you started to become more and more scared. First year of high school, here we go.

The entrance was thirty stories above you, so she had to take the stairs, or FLY. She couldn't fly just yet, her wings were only small, and they always hurt when you touched them, but you were willing to try.

You spread out your petite wings and cringed at the way it hurt. You flapped the crap out of your wings and  started to float, you started to feel a little more comfortable and found that you started to get the hang of it. But as you just reached the 4th floor your body started to sort of, shut down. Your wings wouldn't take you any higher, and you started falling to the ground.  You screamed with terror, it seemed that instead of you going down, the ground was going up.

Finally you reached the ground, and plummeted onto another person. You groaned and lifted yourself up. Quickly realising what happened you jumped onto your knees and helped the victim up.

He was a guy, he had slicked back brown hair, with a couple of highlights, his face was perfectly chiseled, and although he had just been crushed, he was still smiling. His smile was perfect and his teeth were completely white.

"I am SO sorry, I just, it was my first time flying that high and-" He cut you off.

"It's ok, it's happened before" He explained. You smiled, but the one thing that caught your eye, was that on his back, instead of huge black wings, or small red ones, he had none, nothing at all.
