It was finally time for Aurora Argent to start school at Beacon Hills High and she was less than enthused; new school, new classes, new people, new schedule and social rules to abide by. Rory had been on top of it back in Boston, a smart socialite that was the girl that the hallways parted for – now she had to navigate her way through a new sea of a new brand of sharks that were out for blood.

Lydia Martin was content with helping her new cyber friend navigate her way through Beacon Hills; the strawberry blonde found her brunette friend at her locker, going over her schedule – Rory had passed on the offer for the Principal to meet her outside and escort her to her first class, her classes were all AP classes which she was more than happy to oblige to.

"Hey you" Lydia greeted the girl,
"Ready?"

"As I'll ever be" Rory answered with a small nod, the pair turned, ready to head off to their class only to see Scott let out a frustrated groan followed by,

"Oh come on"

Rory frowned in concern as she turned to Lydia, pointing after Scott's retreating figure,
"Is that normal?"

"Not particularly, but then again, neither is he" Lydia shrugged nonchalantly before looping her arm through Rory's,
"Let's go"

Aurora Argent was spending her free period in the library, it was the period before lunch and she had absolutely no intention of leaving the comforting seclusion of the library walls until it was time for her to go to her calculus class. The brunette was perched on a chair with her legs folded underneath her, she had a pen that was darting back and forth between her fingers as she used her knuckle to push her glasses back up onto her nose as they kept sliding down, her green eyes flitted from side to side as she took in the words that her history textbook was spewing at her.

"There you are" A masculine voice interrupted her studying causing the girl to look up, a smile gracing her face once she saw that it was Danny Mahealani, Rory smiled up at him before looking back down at her textbook and then leaning on her fist while a highlighter flicked back and forth between her fingers,
"What are you studying for?"

"History" Rory answered.

"Don't we have that calculus test today?" Danny questioned as he sat in the chair beside her,
"Like, next period"

"Calculus test?" Rory echoed as her head snapped up to look at him,
"We don't have a calculus test"

"Yes, we do" Danny nodded before pulling out the piece of paper that their teacher had handed out with all the test parameters on it. Rory took it from him and scanned over the information rapidly before huffing and exchanging her history textbook for her calculus one.

"I thought it was next week" Rory muttered to herself as she opened her book, Danny side glanced the textbook before chuckling slightly.

"I think you'll be fine"

"But I haven't done any studying" Rory argued with him.

"You totally don't need it" Danny teased as he grabbed her book from her hands and walked away from her, heading towards their math class,
"Come on, Sleeping Beauty"

"I hate that nickname" Rory groaned under her breath as she grabbed her bag and headed after him.

Rory was frowning down at her history project that was annoying her as she jotted down notes while placing a tomato in her mouth. Allison's voice was blending into the background as she spoke about a beast in a book that Kate had given her.
