Rhea looked gorgeous in the long blue gown...walking down the red carpet..she was moving towards her destiny. The spotlight awaited her arrival. She sang her favourite song and the judges gave her a standing ovation. The trophy was brought up on the stage and just as it was about to be given in her hands, someone snatched it, broke it and started laughing. It was Sid!
“No! It's mine” shouted Rhea as she woke up with a jerk. Looking around, she breathed realising that it was just a dream.
“Rhea get ready dear, it's your competition today. I want my daughter to give her best performance ever. OK?” Rhea’s mom entered the room
“Yes Maa.. I'll be dddown there. Just gggive me half an hour!”
Rhea got up to get ready, trying to get the silly dream out of her head.

“Dude where are you. Almost everyone has arrived…”asked Priya
“Right behind you Pppriya..” Rhea reached the venue.
“Why do you always have to be late? Now let's go. I've inquired about everything. They have kept you at the end. We'll wait at the backstage and we can watch other performances as well from there.” Priya told everything she knew while taking Rhea to the backstage.

“AND THE NEXT PERFORMER IS SIDDHARTH MEHRA… PLEASE GIVE A HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR SIDDHARTH”
Just as Sid was getting ready at the backstage, he saw Rhea.
“Hey RRRhea.. Won't you wish me luck? Oh I am sorry.. Luck may be needed by you, right! Because that is what it will take to make you win this competition”
Rhea hated when he smiled like this. Calming herself down, she said “Well as I always sssay.. Mmmay the best ppperformer win”.
Sid and his band went up onto the stage. As their performance began, Rhea and Priya both turned their heads towards the stage in disbelief!
“This is my song!”
“What the hell! How could they just…. I don't believe this. How could someone be so cheap!”
Rhea sat down there, her eyes welled up with tears, she was unable to think now. What will she do? What will she perform now? All her dreams lied shattered before her eyes….
