3- Ride home

A week of incessant work passed by in a blur, between meetings, projects and incredibly long train rides. That morning when she arrived to her office she was greeted by a very chatty Parvati that wouldn't stop going over her status as a single lady and how Hermione had the power to change that, she also commented on the different opinions of the new director that she collected from several employees in her usual "social rounds" as she liked to call them, but hermione refer to them as slacking off at work.

"...and Moira from the third floor is completely infatuated with him after only one little chit chat... apparently he already talked to everybody in the place in one way or another"

"correction, he talked to the entire female population of this building Parvati" she said thinking of him flirting with any pair of nice legs that would cross his way, the bastard was very attractive and he knew it, and he knew how to use it to get whatever he wanted, from a cup of coffee prepared by someone else's secretary to a full bed session with the pretty girl of the week

"well... lets be realistic Hermione. he is HOT. dont deny it! he IS" she said solemnly when hermione rolled her eyes " you and me both know that underneath that fitted suit there's a nice pair of strong arms and.." "..aaand that's the end of our conversation Parvati" Hermione interrupted trying to get the image of Malfoy's well defined arms out of her head.

once the brunette left her office she was finally able to start reading about the assignment she had with the blonde devil... she couldn't help her thoughts going back to all the gossip about his flirtatious conversations with the women of the place, he was a natural charmer.

he had the artillery needed for the task, gray beautiful eyes, glowing blonde hair, nice height and lean body, a sexy voice, strong muscles but not exaggerated in size and the guy knew how to dress like an European model... and then all of it ruined by the shittiest personality you can ever expect in a person.

but he had a point, he was good at it.

she remembered their conversation about the campaign when they were discussing in her office a couple of days ago:

"and how are your 'seductions skills' going to help us with this? " she asked not believing how self conceited can someone be

"Hermione... you see, seduction is everything. You can propose the most brilliant campaign, the most accurate, revenue oriented and monetary attractive project of them all... but if you don't properly attract your future buyers, if you don't mesmerize them with your ideas and your plan.. they will end up choosing the competition, even if their proposal is weaker in numbers"

"you can amaze them with the accuracy of your work and the results of a properly conducted market investigation.. and.." she said frowning and not understanding how on earth he can come up with the idea of 'seducing' a freaking company

"people like to be courted, is nature, business owners are the same. We just have to make sure that we are the sexiest of them all...figuratively speaking of course" he said grinning with the satisfaction of a brilliant idea

"ok but i still don't understand your role in this whole situation, i can perfectly 'seduce' this company by myself" she asked puzzled "why would i need you"

Draco let a loud laugh escape his mouth before adding "Don't get me wrong Granger, you have a mouth watering body but you are completely clueless on what to do with it, me on the other hand..." he said taking slow steps and getting horribly close to her to the point that she could smell the soft scent of the laundry soap in his clothes, making her a little uncomfortable by the proximity " i know what i've got and i am not afraid of using it" he finished in almost a whisper that sent chills down her spine.
