3rd Person POV
You and Jungkook are best friends. Ever since childhood, you're by his side and same to his. You guys made promises, like not leaving each other. You started to grow feelings for him, wishing that he feels the same way for you.
Recently, he keeps on telling you that he started to have feelings for Lee Ji-eun or in short IU. He had strong feelings for her. You tried your best not be jealous and be happy for the both of them. Keyword: try.
You started ignoring Jungkook for weeks now, because he's already happy with IU, he doesn't need a friend like you anymore. It's too much seeing them being together. Jungkook, also asked himself, why were you ignoring him.
Weeks passed, and Jungkook and IU are officially together.You tried my best to act cold about it, but inside, you want to tell Jungkook that you love him more than anything, but it's too late. Someone caught his heart already, which is IU.
Your POV
I was walking down the hall when someone called my name. I turned around, hoping it was Jungkook, but unfortunately, it was another person, Park Jihoon. He is a new student and he is good at Math. We've been friends for like a week or two now.
"Hey Y/N-ssi, you look down... do you you mind sharing it to me?" Jihoon asked me. "No not really.." I responded. "Well come here and give me a hug" He asked cutely. I went to him and hug him tightly, which he did too.
But little did you know, someone was watching you and Jihoon's interaction.
You broke the hug and surprisingly, Jihoon kissed me on the cheek. I looked at him with wide eyes and asked "yah!!!! Why did you kiss me on the cheek?!" He just laughed and carried me in a bridal way.
I started hitting his back playfully as he puts me down. He pretended to groan in pain and said "nice try but you're not strong baby". I blushed and felt butterflies in my stomach as he called me baby.
But he heard everything.
"Yah! Baby my ass. AS IF" I tried to runaway from him but no, he back hugged me and said "my best friend don't ever leave me". I melted at his words. I turned around facing him and said "I will never leave you". He hugged me and I hugged him back. It was the greatest feeling ever
But he wanted to kill Jihoon because of jealousy
I've been hearing news about Jungkook being a cold person and a bully. He also broke up with IU for no reason. I was scared that I might be the next target, hopefully not.
Months after, you and Jihoon are together, since he confessed that he likes me not just a friend or a best friend but a lover. I accepted his feelings and started dating. Tomorrow will be my first month of being with him and I was excited about it.
but when he knew that you were with him and tomorrow will be your first month with Jihoon, he planned something dangerous.
The next day, I woke up happily and started squealing knowing that it's me and my boyfriend's first month of being together. I got ready for school and run as fast as I can.
I arrived and immediately went to my locker. It was really crowded at this time. Why is that? It's unusual, people are so early today. Suddenly, the power went off and people were screaming, I was scared and I started tearing up.
"SURPRISEEEEE!!" The students said and I was super clueless of what was happening.
Suddenly, Jihoon went to me and hugged me. "Happy Monthsary jagi" he said. I groaned happily and said " you scared me babeee". He chuckled and said "I love you so much" . "I love you too Mr. Park Jeojang" i said as we did the 'jeojang' the same time. He pecked your lips and you smiled like a fool.
On the other hand, he was there in the crowd. Watching every move you guys make. As he can't take it anymore, he went to the roof, standing on the edge. Crying his heart out. His best friend was freaking out. He screamed and screamed until he got our attention.
" HELP MY BEST FRIEND IS ABOUT TO JUMP" someone screamed breaking our moment. "WHAT WHO" i asked. He doesn't want to say it he just said, "JUST GO THERE". "OKAY" I responded while running up to the rooftop. We knocked the door down and saw a familiar guy standing on the edge.
"JUNGKOOOOOOOOOK DON'TTTTTT" i screamed as I realized who the person was
. He looked back and said "Y/N don't save me please". I shooed the people away as I close the rooftop door and hurriedly went to him.
"Yah Jungkook-ah, what's wrong with you?!!!"I asked Jungkook out of frustration. He responded "IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU, YOU ARE THE REASON WHY, if that Jihoon guy didn't ruin our friendshi-" i cut him off by saying "no Jungkook, he didn't... you did". "What did I do Y/N... TELL ME!!!!" He shouted at me.
"Look, i lovED you but you were with IU, i guess you didn't care about me that's why I ignored you, which you really didn't, don't worry, it was great not being with you, you made me move on which was great and I feel like the greatest person ever. Thanks Jungkook." I answered.
As I walked away from him he ran up to me and hugged me. I softly pushed him off me. I opened the door and slowly went down. "Y/N I LOVE YOU TOO, YOU'RE THE REASON WHY I WANT TO DIE RIGHT NOW" he screamed as he ran up to me again. "Why me Jungkook?" I asked.
"Look, I'm jealous, Jihoon got the love of my life, I was too late on courting you. I was blinded by IU's love. I'm sorry" Jungkook answered. I was too shock to say a thing but bitterness came upon me and I scoffed at his statement then walked away with a saying.
"I'm just your second choice". I said as I heard Jungkook fell on the floor crying.
