Jasmine's POV

"You got two hours before the televised funeral at Oak Cathedral. Be there and don't be late or Ma will send us to collect your ass." Damien said as Harry and Liam follow him towards the three Roy Royce's. Damien looks back at me with an easy smile, "Respectively of course, love ya." He disappears in his car and takes off.

Scrambling to get in my Porsche I bring it to life, and automatically it's playing my playlist. Drip Drop by Empire Cast. I can't lie it did calm my nerves before I had to get serious again. Backing out of the parking lot I go straight for the hospital.

Arriving at the hospital it wasn't all that busy like on a Friday night, and that's because I'm not dropping bodies and wounding people. In the hallway I see Daria's sister Mela pacing back and forth holding a cross up to her lips. "Hey Mela what's going on? What happened?"

"Her-her heart stopped...it-it-" She was frantic and I couldn't handle comforting her at the moment so I wrap my hands around her shoulder and growl at her. "Where. Is. She?" I didn't want to use my status against her in a vulnerable state but come on I couldn't pick up Daria's heart beat.

"Down the hall, room 304."

Letting her go I make my long strides to make it to her room, pushing open the door I see her laying still in the bed with closed eyes. A nurse was startled by my action, but I don't even knowledge her and just go to Daria's side. Letting out a sigh I hear her heart beat, "She's in a coma." I say just by looking at how still she is. The nurse answers yes before leaving me alone with her.

Seeing her chart on the counter I leave her side and get the file, reading how she collapsed with no heart beat. Damn, and the mystery is that she's always been healthy no sign of heart problems. So how come this happened to her? Turning around I look at her, "I did this to you. I put you in a position where you couldn't keep the fact that I killed..." I couldn't say her name, too much paranoia for me. Putting the file down I sit down beside Daria and take her hand to feel such a strong pain I release her hand in seconds.

"What the?" I ask rubbing my hand that is burned now, mind-linking Mela I tell her to come in the room with me. Within seconds she arrived I showed her my burned hand, "What is that? Silver?" She asked overlooking my slowly healing hand. "Yea, I felt it the second I touched her hand."

Mela turned serious, "There's silver in her blood stream, that's why she's in a coma, her heart stopped because..."

"Because it's in her heart." I answer biting my lip un-sure what to do before pacing back and forth thinking of something. "How do you get silver out of her heart?" Mela asked sitting down looking at the ground. "Ugh, Mela why do you think I have to do it? I got too much shit to think about, and if I get distracted for a second I kill Daria. I can't have the pressure on me damn!" I mutter just plopping back in the seat.

Mela stands up putting on latex gloves, "What the hell are you doing?"

"You take her pain away, I cut and take out the silver." She offers and I roll my eyes thinking it's a stupid idea. "We don't know what is inside her heart Mela, is it a bullet, a piece of a bullet or what? How do we know that if we touch it, that it won't explode killing us all." She sits back down defeated before I just groan annoyed with this situation. "She won't make it to tomorrow Princess Jasmine- your highness we gotta do something." I twirl my red hair around,

Standing up I gaze down at Daria's still face, wanting to hold her face I pause. "She's a fast healer, she's strong, and will be in pain for several weeks if we do what I'm thinking." I say softly just feel awful for thinking it. "What are you thinking?"

I swallow, "I burn her flesh."

"No, sorry Princess but this is where I put my foot down. You erupt in flames you don't control flames." She defends putting her arm over Daria protectively and I put my head down shameful for saying anything. "If I can control and target it on just the silver I can melt it-"

"And let it seep in her cells I don't think so!"

"She's dead if we don't so something!" I scream at her losing my sanity just absolutely ready to give up my life for her's at this moment. "How about we reverse the roles, I take away her pain and you reach in and get the silver. You have an extra line of defense when you erupt in flames. That can protect you against the silver." Mela suggested still hovering over Daria and I think it over, and that could actually work.

Peeling off my jacket I pull up my hair in a pony tail, "Fine but we gotta be quick, and if it's too much let go of her hand Mela. You let go and let me handle it." She nods getting ready to hold Daria's hand and I look at Daria's chest, looking deeper past her skin to see her red broken irregular heart beating. "You got the silver?" She asked,

I locked on the small bullet lodged into the side of her heart, "Got it." Glancing back at Mela she's inches from holding Daria's hand and I grab the edge of the bed and feel my body heat up. "Get ready...now." Instantly all I see are flames and they spread across Daria's body, burning flesh was all I could smell. The flames were getting brighter and brighter, the heart of the flame was beginning to be unstable. Tightening my grip I gain control and concentrate. "Ahh!" Mela winced and I finally broke Daria's skin.

"Let go Mela," I order.

I show off my claws and reach in very quickly to grab the bullet and pull it out and make sure to put it on the counter. My claws were badly burned before I let it go, and Mela was quick with the bandages to wrap it up. We both looked back at Daria who was picking up a heart beat.

She moved a bit and that's when Mela and I glance at each other before we both hold Daria's hand and help her heal faster. Transferring cells and blood she'll need to heal, but we can only do it for so long we ourselves are weak. "She'll have to heal from here on." Mela says brushing Daria's hair out of her face. "Thank you," Mela says rounding the bed to hug me tightly. I hug her back, she was the little sister I never had so I wasn't gonna leave till I saved her only family left.

"Come on, we gotta get to that funeral."

"You know it's gonna be a blood bath right?" She asks leaving with the door open for me, I collect the bullet in a special box. "Yea get strapped for war baby girl."

"Why? Besides the obvious?"

"Because this bullet is Mortelli."
