*May's POV*

I take a deep breath and close my eyes, focusing on the intro my band are playing. My cue comes and I begin singing the familiar words that come naturally to me now. I can hear the crowd singing my first single back to me, even through my earpieces, and I reopen my eyes. I'm not panicking anymore. Instead, I smile as the crowd wave their glowsticks and sway along.

I still can't believe how fortunate I've been to have received the offer to support 5 Seconds Of Summer on their UK tour. I'd been making YouTube covers for a year and built up a small fanbase, but I've only just released my first single - 'Untitled'. Imaginative, I know, but I couldn't come up with anything that fitted. It reached number 2 in the charts anyway, but I still need to establish myself as an artist and this tour is the perfect opportunity for me to do so. Also I'm a little bit of a fangirl for 5 Seconds Of Summer (and by little I mean fucking huge).

'Thank you so much,' I grin as I finish my song and the crowd start cheering. 'This is the biggest audience I've ever played to and I couldn't have asked for a better one. So thanks for making me feel so welcome and this next song's for all of you,' I say, before playing a song I wrote especially for this tour called 'Daydreaming.' I play a couple more originals and an All Time Low cover, then leave the stage with adrenaline pumping through my veins.

'Wow you're amazing live,' Calum tells me as I get backstage.

'Thanks,' I reply, trying not to blush at the compliment but failing terribly. 'My legs are still shaking.'

'You definitely didn't show your nerves though,' Ashton smiles at me, giving my shoulder a reassuring squeeze.

The other guys nod in agreement. 'Aw you're all too cute,' I laugh. The boys receive their cue to head to the stage and I follow them so I can watch. 'Good luck!' I shout as they head up the stairs and the crowd screams so loudly I worry for my hearing. I find myself smiling the whole way through their concert. They look like they enjoy every minute on stage and thank their fans so often you can tell how much this means to them. I'm actually kind of upset when it ends, even though I get to watch them do it all over again tomorrow. For all their fans though, the moment they've been looking forward to for weeks is over in little more than an hour, and I understand that feeling - that post-concert depression where you don't really know what to do with your life anymore. Because in that one hour, you're the happiest you've ever been. You're in a crowd of people you consider a second family, all singing along with the band that brought you together. And nothing can really beat that feeling.

*Luke's POV*

Tonight's been amazing - life doesn't get much better than playing to a crowd of fans singing along to your songs on your own sold out tour. I don't even want to imagine what my life would have been like had the One Direction boys not asked us to be their support act last year. We'd probably still be recording covers in Ashton's basement, not playing to fans in other countries, standing on stages where so many huge artists also started their careers.

We decide to head back to the hotel we're staying in for the night and order a pizza because we're all pretty tired. A small group of fans somehow managed to work out where we're staying and are stood outside. We chat to them for a bit and make sure we take pictures with them all seeing as there aren't too many of them. Although I love performing to sold-out venues, I do love being able to actually have conversations with our fans without the craziness of large crowds where we have to be dragged away by security.

May seems to be getting a lot of requests for photos as well. In fact, almost everyone at the gig knew the words to her songs. She's definitely going to make it big - this is just the beginning for both of us.
