Leyla was still asleep. A few minutes later she finally woke up. She noticed that she was at the sofa not in the floor any more. Then she saw David, he was putting some things in a bag."Where are you going, and why did you sleep in the floor when I said it was my turn?'' "......You're finally awake, you slept for at least 20 hours."
" First of all, I didn't sleep that long and don't change the subject." "Ok, then check the clock." Leyla looked around the room to see if there was a clock. And there was, she looked at it and got surprised when it said it was one in the afternoon. "I told you" said David." Ok, ok, but you haven't answered my question yet."said Leyla.
"Ok, it looked like you were cold. And I'm getting ready to help the people that are hurt out there." "Well, I'm going with you David." " I think you should stay here. I don't want you to get hurt, and you still need to get better." "Don't worry, I'm just a little hurt, I'm ok. But I need to go out there so I can find my parents..... Alive or dead...."
"Hey don't say that....I'm sure we are going to find them alive." Said David. " ..... I really hope that..... Well, let's go, let's go help those people."
A few minutes later,they were both outside. There were a lot of more people helping. Some buildings we're destroyed and there were dead bodies laying on the ground. Leyla could not believe what she was seeing. David noticed that Leyla felt sad. " Hey, if this is to hard for you, you can wait for me in the house..." Before he could finish Leyla said, " No, I'm ok... I want to help." Leyla and David were helping the people who were hurt or traped. Leyla saw a lot of people crying for their family and friends and would go up to them to hug them or to give them water, and help them carry the bodies into the hospital. A few times Leyla would cry remembering her bother and sister and parents. But David was there to hug her and make her feel better. While they were drinking water, they both heard a voice. ''Hey David, we need you here!" Then that person came running to them. "I will be there in a minute." said David. "Leyla this is Luis, he is my friend. And Luis this is Leyla." "I cant belive it...you finally found her..."said Luis. It was silent for a few seconds until Leyla said, "How does he now about me?" "Oh, David has talked about you." Respond Luis. David changed the subject right away. " Ok, So Leya, Luis, the rest and I are going to look in the areas close to the hospital" After a few seconds of talking they all agreed. When they started to walk around the hospital Leyla noticed a group of people that were going in another direction. "Were are those people going? Aren't they suppose to come with us?" "Well, we have different groups, some people go look in the forest, parks ext. But we are going to look close to the hospital areas." said Luis. "Where are does people going?" asked Leyla. "They are going to look in the stores." said David. "My parents, they went to a store, before all of this happened. Im going to look with them." "Ok then, I will go with you." said David. "David you cant, you need to come with us, the people need you. This was planed since three days ago. You cant go with her, neither of us can." said Luis. "David, dont worry about me. Im going to be ok. Anyways there are other people there, its not just me. And i can maybe find my parents alive..." said Leyla. ".....Please be careful...." said David. "I will, You be careful too..." And with that they both left. Both into different places. They were both scared that maybe that was the last time they would ever see each other again.
