"Woah, who's the new guy?"

The blonde hair boy asked the question, letting go of the light brown haired boy who seemed to go from playful, to a shy demeanour, stepping back a bit to hide behind the blonde boy. Jin narrowed his eyes at the four boys who still stood in the entrance of the kitchen, and put his hands on his hips, looking at them as if he was about to scold his children for taking cookies out of the cookie jar right before dinner.

"Does nobody remember grandfather telling us there would be someone filling the extra bed we have?" Jin looked expectantly at the four, and the blonde haired and light brown haired boys looked down, the purple haired boy speaking up.

"I remembered, hyung." He told Jin, but Jin didn't seem convinced.

The red haired boy rolled up his sleeves and Hoseok could see messy words written about it in pen from his wrists to his forearms. The boy pointed to a spot on his arm before smiling and looking to Jin.

"I wrote it down, 'new housemate', look." Jin looked at his arm and nodded.

"Well, this is our new housemate, Hoseok. Hoseok these are, well, they can introduce themselves I'm going to burn dinner." Jin threw a towel over his shoulder and turned around to face the stove, going back to stirring and messing with the stove settings. While Jin looked for spices in the cabinet, the four boys introduced themselves; Namjoon, Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook.

Namjoon had the purple hair and dimples that appeared when he smiled, his purple hair looked fairly new and was brushed a bit messily in the front to make him look casual. His uniform shirt was rolled up at the elbows, and Hoseok noticed how on one of his arms, hung around another boy.

Taehyung, the boy holding onto Namjoon, had bright scarlet hair, his hair wavy and textured, a pair of bright red glasses to match, sitting on the bridge of his nose. He looked shy, and skinny in his uniform, holding onto Namjoon as if he was a child unsure of meeting a stranger. Though there was another boy who looked even more timid, and hid behind the blonde boy.

The boy with light brown hair, Jungkook, hid behind Jimin, whose blonde hair was also textured and wavy, parted unevenly in the middle, looking at Hoseok with one double lidded eye and one mono lidded eye. His lips were like Jin's, soft and full, pulled into a curious smile, while Jungkook's bottom lip was taken in between his teeth, shy but excited to meet Hoseok.

In their uniforms, the four boys looked younger than Hoseok, and his suspicions about their ages were correct when Taehyung addressed Hoseok informally and Jin told Taehyung to respect his elders. Jungkook bowed quickly to Hoseok before he hurried off to his room, Taehyung giving Hoseok a cute wave before he followed the youngest.

While the boys got changed, Hoseok was once again left alone with Jin. Though Hoseok still didn't need know Jin that well, he felt a bit more comfortable with him than when he was first greeted by the oldest. Hoseok remembered the advertisement for his room saying how there were already 6 beds filled, one more needed, and wondered where the seventh housemate was. So he asked Jin.

"Today is Friday so..." Jin furrowed his brows as he thought, placing the pot on the towel on the table so it didn't burn the lackered wood. "He's either in the studio, or working another shift." Jin told Hoseok.

"Oh," Hoseok nodded, "okay."

"Could you help me set the table?" Jin asked, opening the cabinets and grabbing a few glasses and a single plastic green cup.

"Yes, hyung." Hoseok hopped out of his seat, and while he helped Jin set the table, he wondered about his other housemate.

What's his name? Is he older than me? Is he nice? Does his sing since Jin hyung mentioned a studio?
