Night Terrors

•~ Monika POV ~•

(Y/N) was sleeping in her room while I was sitting in the living room watching TV. I hadn't changed out of my uniform even tho it was litterly a couple seconds from midnight. I looked at the TV but it looked blury since I was on the verge of passing out, I knew that much.

Evenually I did pass out, I hit my head on the arm rest tho, but that didn't stop my tired self. I 'woke up' in a glitchy and dark void. "What the?" I whispered to myself. I tried to walk about but I was stuck and when I tried to move it hurt. "OW!!!" I yelled. I tried moving about and I did, by an inch, and it still burned. My vision blurred with tears as I said what I think was (Y/N).

"(Y/N)!!" I yelled "Help!!" '(YN)' started walking towards me, I tensed up as I sensed that something was really off. "(Y-Y/N)?... A-Are you o-ok?..." I asked, fear clearly in my voice. '(Y/N)' held her hand out and grabbed my arm. "(Y-" I cried out as a giant surge of pain went through my body as '(Y/N)' threw me. And it didn't just hurt becuase she threw me, but becuase the movement burned me. For a moment I was on the ground in shock, I couldn't move or breathe. I felt like I was being suffacated. "H-əł-p. . ."

"M-Monika?! Monika, wake up! Please wake up!!" I heard a terrifyed voice call out to me. I snapped back to reality. I looked around, I was on the floor crying with (Y/N) next to me. "Omg, you're ok!" (Y/N) yelled as she pulled my into a tight embrace.

"W-What happened?" I asked shakily. "I-I came d-downstairs to get s-some water and I saw that you were crying on the ground..." (Y/N) explained. I connected the dots in my head, I had another night terror. It felt like one of those night terrors that I had whenever (Y/N) would leave the game... "Well, i'm fine." I said as I wrapped my arms around her. We stayed like that for a bit, and to my dismay, she let go.

"Why don't you sleep... in my room tonight?" (Y/N) asked. We both blushed. I nodded as (Y/N) helped me up and we walked up to her room. "I'll give you a bit to change." (Y/N) said as she started to walk out of the room.

"No peaking! You don't get dis body yet!" I laughed. (Y/N) laughed back and closed the door behind her after she walked out of the room. I sighed to myself as I started to change into my nightgown. I thought about that dream, what was that? (Y/N) can't exit the game, she lives in it, so why did I have that night terror? I haven't had a night terror since (Y/N) was brought into this game.

I tried to shrug it off but the feeling just would leave me alone. I started shaking wildly to the point where I was laying on the ground, trying not to cry. The thought of loosing (Y/N) burned my heart with extreme pain. I thought I was about to die when (Y/N) knocked on the door, knocking me out of my trance. "Mon, you ok?" (Y/N) asked from the other side of the door.

I quickly got up, still shaking a bit but it wasn't noticeable. "Y-Yeah," I said. (Y/N) opened the door and smiled at me. "You should take your hair down." She giggled. "Oh, I guess I should." I laughed back. I tried for 10 straight minutes to get my hair down in the bathroom, nothing worked. I just settled on secretly using my code magic to get it down. I walked back into the room.

By the time I got back into the bedroom, (Y/N) was already laying in bed sleeping. I layed on the bed and cuddled up against her, she kind of morphed into a ball. "Do not sqeal." I told myself in my mind.

"So small. So innocent. So...

...So real...

sO mInE."

"STOP IT!" I screamed. I fell off the bed and started crying. I tried to be quiet enough so (Y/N) wouldn't hear. "I can't let HER take over again, I could delete everyone again... I could... I could make her mine aga- STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT."

"This is gonna be fun MoNiKa."

"Shut up Elyssa."
