Christmas Cheer

Chapter Two|| " Dreaming of a White Christmas"

As I drove into the driveway I had noticed there were no cars to be seen? AHHH, Maybe they were going to surprise grandma and grandpa!! I might need to sneak in and "act surprised". **A.P.O.V.
-Mary opens door... creeek
- put the decorations/groceries bedside the door.
- looks around before fully opening the door
- sneaks in...
-... and jumps out and scream, "FOR ME!? YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE"!

I.Feel.So.Stupid.... Lets hope the neighbors didn't hear that. Let's forget that EVER happened.  Well since that is over with, I will now turn on some lovely Christmas music in the kitchen and start unloading the Groceries. **20 minutes later**
As I am singing on the couch trying to read a good book I suddenly get the urge to turn on the tv.
As I do it's my All Time Favorite Christmas Movie!!
The Grinch Who stole Christmas! As I sit there staring into the tv probably drooling, quoting the movie line by line. I smell the muffins I put in the oven. Smelling... burnt?!?? Ugh, I only put them in 30 minutes ago? I hurry over in my fuzzy socks still quoting the lines from the grinch, putting a mitten on struggling hurrying to get the muffins out, finally once I get done putting them on the stove and the mitten in the drawer I see they are all burnt so I trample over to the trash where I put the directions (thinking I knew how to bake) finding that they are only supposed to be baked for 15-20 minutes! Ugh well I might need to call and check on grandma and grandpa. **5 minutes after calling grandma-grandpa** They tell me there are walking home to get some alone time together.. I know they know that I wouldn't let them walk in the freezing cold weather, since it's 55 degrees which is under my rage. So as I go to my car you know the usual putting in the car keys, dancing to the car, singing to the car, making sure it feels some love on Christmas holidays. Speaking of feeling loved on Christmas i noticed that when I turn the car on , I'm almost out of gas so I have to make a quick pit stop to the gas station. Once I arrive **10 minutes later** I noticed that there is a young probably not much younger couple than me, inside the store and as I start to look back down at the gas pump I see the father open the door for his wife and I see they have a baby in a carrier, but as she turns directions I noticed she is pregnant! I've always wanted a special life like that. *hint hint*
I continue you my journey to find my grandparents right when I turn down the next lane to what comes a humongous, beautiful Christmas tree. The Christmas tree is the exact middle of the town, it's the city's Annual tree. I notice under the big tree I see two tiny figures staring up at the tree enjoying every moment together. Grandma is on the left laying on grandpa which is holding her tightly. I have always dreamed of growing old with that special someone. **hint** I pull right beside the cement which has a walk way towards the tree, I race (fast walk) to my grandparents, they both turn around to me.
** Conversation** Grandparent=G
Me- hey! I couldn't possibly let you two walk in weather like this!?
G- well thank you sweetie that was very nice of you
G- how did you find us
Me- Had a very lucky guess..( I was just heading in the direction of the restaurant, but they don't need to know that)
Me- I need to go pick up some desserts for the guests and food for me tonight.
G- I thought you said you were going after you picked us up??
Me-ehhh I already did...
G- oh.. ohhh ok
G- I see you took after your grandpa's cooking skills
Me- If grandpa is good at burning muffins while watching the grinch, then yes of course!

As I arrive at the restaurant with grandpa and grandma, I take off inside to hurry and get some desserts and food for to go. Which takes about a hour, it was very packed so me and my grandparents zip trough the crowd and find a seat and try to watch the tv and enjoy a nice drink until the food is ready. **about 15 minutes later**
Well I am glad that is finished, as we pass the Christmas tree again, we all glance and have merry and bright smile on faces. When I arrive at the house (B&B) I notice all the cars are back in the same spots. When I return inside to throw away my muffins I notice they are all gone!
Me-where did the muffins I bake go?
Them- they were really good you just needed to scrap the burnt part off.
Me-... well I'm glad you liked them.

I unload the groceries and put the food in the fridge for me tomorrow, cause I was too tired to cook now. Just wanted to go in my room and put the grinch on and go to bed, even though it is only 8:00.
So after I take a good hot shower, I turn on the grinch as I put my heart fuzzy socks on, and climb (jump) into bed and lights out.
