I watched as the surroundings changed from city to forests, and open road. I noticed a majority backed up section of abandoned cars, completely filled just left to anyone. It was silent, besides the sudden screeching and squealing of a bursted radiator hose from the RV. I glanced back as the large vehicle rolled to a stop and the rest of the group poured out. We were instructed for search for anything and everything as I started my search I glanced at Daryl curiously. His physique was toned, incredibly strong but the looks of the defined muscles in his arms, scruff lined his jawline and upper lip. I looked away quickly and shook away any previous ideas looking for anything that could be of use, only finding small items and granola bars.
A small sigh escaped my lips and felt someone hiss at me. I glanced back to see Rick motioning to get under the cars and I quickly crawled underneath a van, glancing out to the side curiously, but staying still. Feet dragged across the ground and my eyes widened surprised. I covered my mouth quickly nervous they could find me, and I wasn't even armed. I glanced over to the other side of the and noticed Daryl and T-Dog laying underneath dead walkers. Daryl's crystal blue eyes gazed into my own and I smiled weakly for the situation at hand.
We waited a good ten minutes and I looked from side to side before hearing the little girl, Sophia cry out in distress. I looked forward and noticed a walker trying to grab at her under the car. I wanted to crawl out to help but didn't think I could do much in my position. I looked over at Daryl who was more concerned with T-Dog having his complete forearm sliced open from a car. I swallowed shakily and noticed Rick running after the girl and the two walkers who persued Sophia. I glanced back and didn't notice anymore walkers and I climbed out from under the van. I walked over to the other side and noticed T-Dog's arm was bandaged slightly with a rag and tape. T-Dog was an African american and was rather short, only being a few inches taller then me.
I looked at Daryl nervously, my brows furrowed and concern fill my artic blue eyes.
"Do you think Rick will be okay? Does he need help?" I questioned and Daryl glanced near the way Rick had left.
"He's a big boy he can handle two walkers." His voice gravelly as usual and he didn't seem all to concerned for Rick, but for something else it seemed? He started to wander off yet again and I looked nervously towards were the two people had disappeared into the woods.

Rick had came back near twilight after looking for Sophia since he left her when he returned without the little girl Carol whimpered softly as her eyes started to well with tears.
"Where's Sophia? You didn't find her?" Her voice was weak and started to give in to her emotion of sadness. I glanced around the group were all visably upset and confused as to how this could have happened. I glanced at my own toes, I myself had also got my hopes up high that Rick would come back a hero, but this world isn't meant for hero's. I went to the RV where my backpack rested and I reached in grabbing the knife and handgun as a precaution.
I walked up to Dale who was elderly and had a gray beard and hair to match. He looked through binoculars and was keeping a watch. He directed Shane and Andrea to try and push cars out of the way.
"Hey Dale, where is everyone sleeping tonight? Mind if I steal a spot in the RV? I know I havent done much to deserve a spot but I can try and help you with the RV tomorrow." I offered, trying to find somewhere at least relitively safe to sleep and I smile pleadingly. He gave a humble smile with a nod.
"Sure, no one has requested it but you so, knock yourself out." His voice was gentle and smiled happily. I sat on the couch and noticed Daryl, Andrea, and Carol climb in as well to hunker down for the night. I laid on the couch and gazed up and the flat ceiling, taking a deep breath. It no longer smelt stale but of an odd sense of home as I laid beneath an old quilt. I looked around, Daryl settled himself on the floor trying to fall asleep, the small whimpers and little sounds of sniffs as Carol quietly cried in her bed. Andrea sat trying to put a gun back together. I gazed back up at the ceiling I knew we were on our way to Fort Benning, but I was beginning to think we are just wandering around trying to live in a godless world.
